This year has been one in which j-hope has been working at full throttle, engaging in numerous outstanding music projects as a solo artist. Since completing his military service in October last year, j-hope immediately returned to the music scene with singles like Sweet Dreams and Mona Lisa, released in March 2025, while also continuing to release Killin’ It Girl and collaborating on LE SSERAFIM’s track Spaghetti during the summer of 2025.
Remarkably, these releases coincided with his first solo world tour, HOPE ON THE STAGE, demonstrating the superstar’s diligence, energy, and efficiency!
During the world tour, the superior dance and performance sкιℓℓs of BTS’s dance leader shone brilliantly. His precise body control, executing each movement with power yet fluidity and emotion, transformed every song into a vivid visual story that captivated au∂ιєnces worldwide.

Although widely recognized as one of the top idols in dance and performance, j-hope remains humble. He continuously strives to improve, honing his dance technique and stage presence. He has even openly shared that he sought performance advice from BTS’s youngest member, Jungkook.
He mentioned this during a segment of a livestream following his concert in New York. The BTS leader explained that he had been contemplating whether to use a handheld mic or a headset mic for performances, noting that the headset would allow greater freedom in dancing.
However, after seeing that Jungkook, despite his powerful dance moves, preferred using a handheld mic, j-hope reconsidered and decided to follow his example. "What I thought about before the concert is that I wanted to use a headset mic. It was a place I wanted to show my dance. But Jungkook didn't use one, so if I suddenly used a headset, it'd be funny. It wasn't just that but there are issues with using a headset at a concert." he explained.

This revelation surprised fans because, despite having more experience and leading BTS’s choreography, j-hope did not insist that his approach was automatically correct. Instead, he acknowledged Jungkook’s performance and regarded it as the best guidance for the stage.
ARMYs were deeply moved, realizing the profound respect and camaraderie among BTS members. Age and rank are irrelevant to them—the priority is mutual learning.
j-hope himself once guided Jungkook toward perfecting his stage performances years ago. At that time, the Golden Maknae was extremely obsessed with flawless performances, often giving his all on stage and criticizing himself if he felt he hadn’t done well enough, even when fans and other members saw no fault.
j-hope advised Jungkook that being the Golden Maknae doesn’t mean pushing oneself to the point of exhaustion. He explained that fans care about the energy and joy Jungkook brings, not absolute perfection. He also reminded the maknae that learning to manage energy and pacing effectively is a true mark of professionalism.

Seeing how BTS members learn from one another to improve every day deeply touches fans, serving as an inspiring example for everyone:
- Moreee story behind wearing headset hobaaa
- Love the bond between the brothers! How they inspire each other
- Not the solos crawling out like actual roaches under this very telling tale of inspirational and supportive BROTHERHOOD.
- The fact that the seven boys are family to each other, take advice and notes from each other, support each other, and will never be jealous of each other's success is soмєтнing these disgusting solo stans in the comments will never understand, this is how healthy families are
- I love how jhope is taking notes from jungkook’s successful solo career
- Its nice to see hyung taking notes from their all rounder golden maknae
- I think the mention of JK is because JK is a singer dancer; whereas Hobi is a rapper dancer. Im sure he is learning from JK as he navigate this genre of singing and dancing.
