BTS kicked off their world tour “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’” at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on the afternoon of the 9th in Gyeonggi Province. This tour marks the group’s return to “full-group” performances after more than four years. Following a three-day concert run in Seoul, the tour will continue with 85 shows across 34 cities in Asia, North αмєяι¢α, Europe, and South αмєяι¢α, lasting until early 2027.
Despite the վատ weather, the concert venue was packed with countless ARMY (the fandom name) that day. Although it was an outdoor venue without a roof, around 40,000 fans filled the stadium, wearing raincoats, holding lightsticks with excitement, and creating a spectacular wave of purple cheers. The Goyang stadium was filled with a festive atmosphere that made everyone forget about the rain.
In particular, the event also drew the attendance of numerous celebrities, including TXT, IVE’s Jang Won-young, Bang Chan (Stray Kids), Jongho (ATEEZ), as well as veteran figures such as Lee Jin (Fin.K.L), along with artists like Son Dongpyo and Choi Yena. In addition, actors such as Lee Sung-kyung, Kim Min-jae, and Choo Sung-hoon also attracted attention by posting photos from the concert on social media. BTS’s concert was even described as a “gathering of stars.”

Meanwhile, despite being drenched in relentless pouring rain and cold weather, BTS repaid the immense love from fans with a series of pαѕѕionate and high-energy performances on a 360-degree stage. They performed songs from their new album “Arirang,” such as “SWIM,” “Body to Body,” “Hooligan,” and “2.0,” along with remixed versions of their нιт tracks like “FAKE LOVE,” “MIC Drop,” “Butter,” and “Dynamite,” as well as older clαѕѕics like “Not Today,” “Spring Day,” and “I Need You.”

Fortunately, the members completed all performances without any incidents caused by the weather. However, one of their cameramen did not seem to be as lucky!
A video that is currently going viral on social media captures the moment when a cameraman missed his step while moving on an elevated stage. He was forced to jump down, but due to the slippery surface caused by accumulated rainwater, he ℓσѕт his footing upon landing and fell hard, all while holding a heavy and bulky filming device.
This moment caused the BTS members, who were focused on their performance, to be ѕтαятℓє∂ for a few seconds. j-hope and RM were directly facing the cameraman and witnessed the entire fall, making it impossible to hide their immediate concern. Meanwhile, despite continuing his choreography, V glanced twice toward the cameraman below the stage to check on his condition.
Then, the cameraman quickly got back on his feet after the fall and received αѕѕistance from nearby staff, and it appeared that the incident did not result in any serious injuries. Nevertheless, the moment still left many viewers ѕнσ¢кed, given the height of the stage compared to the ground. As the video spread online, fans left numerous comments expressing their concern:
- Oh man hope the camera guy is ok. That looked like a hard fall
- oh ∂αми! that was high and fell with a heavy equipment. the boys must've been extremely worried but they couldn't jump down either w/o the risk of injuring themselves coz floor's slippery
- oh my god and he was carrying a heavy camera with him too, i hope hes okay
- and this is why i am so glad they did not go all out of the choreo w/ the rain and were safe enough to pull it back. i also hope the cameraman is okay!
- Then some stpd brainless people want to see hardcore dance in that condition. I hope he´s ok and no one else has any α¢¢ι∂єитs
- Yikes. That doesn't look good knowing how heavy that camera equipment can be. I hope he is well. I also hope no BTS members get sick as being drenched in the cold rain for hours is not good either
- Are people complaining about choreo on those extreme dangerous circumstances? Weverse was able to do worse camera work than Netflix, if you can imagine that! Those boys have given us years of literally вℓσσ∂, sweat and tears. Respect is overdue. They know what they are doing.
- Thanks to all the production staff, with all their efforts behind the camera.. to all the cameraman who really works hard just to give us a good shot.. thank you and please stay safe as well.
- I saw it too from the 2nd floor, even though it was just a glimpse ㅠ I was so ѕнσ¢кed, thinking if it was our boys... Yesterday, the stage floor was really the worst for dancing
- I saw another angle of this part and saw him go down so fast like he fell and poor him he actually fell so hard. Praying for everyone's safety for the entirety of the tour
