According to Asan Medical Center on the 18th, j-hope donated 200 million won to the Children’s Hospital Development Fund under the Asan Medical Center system. Following last year, he once again donated the same amount on his birthday, February 18. Including a 100 million won donation in 2022, his cumulative donations to Asan Medical Center have reached 500 million won.
j-hope shared, "I am continuing these donations with a heart of wanting to repay 'ARMY' (the fandom), who always send me great support. I am grateful to practice meaningful sharing on my birthday this year, following last year's example. I sincerely hope that children can overcome their pain and dream bright dreams."
Not only that, on the same day, j-hope also donated 100 million won to ChildFund кσяєα (Green Umbrella), an organization dedicated to child welfare.

Previously, from 2019 to 2023, j-hope continuously supported scholarships for underprivileged students at his alma mater, Gwangju International High School and Chonnam Girls’ Commercial High School. Since 2018, through ChildFund кσяєα, he has also consistently donated to vulnerable groups in society, such as covering medical expenses for sick children and supporting children from families affected by ¢σνι∂-19. j-hope is also a member of the “Green Noble Trinity Club,” a group of major donors to ChildFund кσяєα who have contributed over 1 billion won in total.
In addition to engaging in charitable activities as a way to give back to fans and society, on his birthday, j-hope also met ARMYs through a live broadcast, which has become a tradition for BTS members on their birthdays. Notably, the birthday celebration featured a surprise appearance by Jin, who jokingly offered a “gift” by saying, “Choose whatever you want from my body,” and even rolled up his sleeves and unzipped his jacket for j-hope to pick.
j-hope repeatedly refused, saying, “No, I have to give back as much as I receive. Let’s not do that,” and tried to usher his older brother away to stop the antics. He then helplessly but happily told fans, “That’s the kind of kind person Jin hyung is.”
Interestingly, j-hope also ranked Jin as the number one funniest member these days. He also ranked the other members in the group: “Also lately the funny ones are Namjoon, Jin, Jungkook… Jimin… Taehyung and Yoongi. All members!”
As expected of the eldest member, Jin’s “random” energy and natural comedic moments remain number one in j-hope’s heart no matter where he is. Watching how Hobi listed the members one by one and then concluded with “all members” once again highlights how close-knit they are. It seems that after so many years, just being together is enough for the seven members to find everything funny—no need for elaborate jokes.
Jungkook also shared a similar sentiment when talking to fans about the time they gathered in Los Angeles after discharge, saying, “There’s a reason our team’s bright, Jin hyung is like that and has a role like that in the team. Ah I miss the members. Ah I miss our members. BTS!”

The warmth and closeness of the BTS family shown these days have further excited fans, raising their anticipation for the group’s upcoming comeback in March: "Hobi ranking Jin as the funniest is so real. Jin’s humor is on another level, no wonder he’s the mood maker of BTS", "don't separate them anymore", "awww they are so happy together, pls March comes quickly", "He just love to be with his boys", "Home is always 7, ARIRANG let's go", "Their bond is so strong that just being together makes them laugh",...
