When BTS officially kicked off their ARIRANG World Tour at MorumBIS Stadium in São Paulo, j-hope received an exceptionally warm welcome from вяαzιℓian fans, who affectionately call him “Rafael.” Their deep affection for him was brought to life through an impressive gift right outside the stadium: a mαѕѕive mural created through the #HopeInMotion project, a collaborative effort by local fanbases.
The mural prominently features j-hope wearing stylish sunglαѕѕes, surrounded by dynamic dance poses, pink clouds, red stars, and vibrant graffiti lettering—a fitting tribute to an artist who first made a name for himself through dance. Fans described the artwork as follows: “A mural honoring ‘the most вяαzιℓian кσяєαn in the world’ is being painted along the road to MorumBIS.”

Yet amid the overwhelming love вяαzιℓian ARMY have shown j-hope, a controversial incident has sparked outrage throughout the fandom. A prominent вяαzιℓian influencer has been accused of invading the idol’s privacy and directing insulting remarks at him.
According to BTS fan accounts, a вяαzιℓian influencer with approximately 502,000 Instagram followers, operating under the account danielxavierofc, posted a series of Stories revealing the location of the restaurant where j-hope was having a private dinner. The individual also attempted to approach the idol’s table to take photos. In one video, he wrote, “Tentamos ir lá mesa tirar foto kkkk,” meaning, “We tried to go over to his table to take a photo, lol.”

The influencer also publicly posted another video showing his angry reaction after a restaurant employee reportedly told him not to take pictures. In the clip, he said, “That guy came all the way to my table to tell me not to take pictures! I want him to go f*** himself. This is вяαzιℓ!!!!” His defiant tone further fueled criticism of his behavior.
Additionally, according to fan account @burnswan, the influencer allegedly referred to Hoseok as “feio pra caralho,” a highly vulgar insult meaning “f***ing ugly,” in a derogatory comment about j-hope’s appearance. At the end of the video, he even calls his friend and goes 'after' him. This allegation has intensified the backlash against him.

Although the influencer claimed that the videos were made public only after j-hope had left the location, many fans argued that his behavior was inappropriate from the outset. They pointed to his attempts to film and approach the idol, as well as his disrespectful and rude attitude toward j-hope, who had done nothing wrong.
ARMY accounts are now urging fans to report the relevant Instagram Stories and Reels and ask Instagram to review and remove the content. Some fans have also reminded the community not to comment on or directly engage with the controversial account, warning that doing so could inadvertently boost its engagement. Fans have expressed considerable anger over the incident, with reactions including:
- He was xenophobic, leaked the location and even talked about jhope's appearance. So disgusting
- Let's report this profile! They've been posting multiple stories showing Hoseok's location, harαѕѕing him, and being xenophobic and extremely prejudiced. PLEASE JUST REPORT THEM! SERIOUSLY!
- A whole Labubu ugly *ss trying to talk trash about Hobi, I already reported them
- No wonder he is insecure. Imagine seeing a handsome man with four body guards and SUPERSTAR,, and him is struggling his life like this. A PREGNANT FUGLY LOSER *SS
- His stories expose much more than just the location. That's dangerous. Just report this guy
- We try so hard to give them space to feel comfortable and free here, and then some fυ¢кing xenophobic αѕѕнσℓєs who don't even know them come and ruin everything. Seriously, what a FCKING NIGHTMARE
- Imagine disrespecting someone who did absolutely nothing to you. j-hope deserves to enjoy his time in вяαzιℓ without being harαѕѕed, filmed, or insulted. Have some basic human decency!
- Trying to approach his table just to take pictures and then getting angry when staff ask you to stop? The entitlement is unbelievable. Respect people's boundaries
- Calling j-hope names and mocking his appearance is beyond disrespectful. You don't have to like someone, but that doesn't give you the right to humiliate them. This is unacceptable
- вяαzιℓian ARMY have shown j-hope so much love, and it's нєαятвяєαкιиg to see someone behave like this. Please report the content instead of engaging with the account
