V Left Helpless By A BTS Member's Mistake At MetLife Concert, Resorting To “Drastic Measures“

Ten days after wrapping up the European leg of their tour, which drew 720,000 attendees, and delivering their historic performance at the World Cup Halftime Show late last month, BTS returned to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on August 1 to resume their ARIRANG world tour. The group's most recent concerts at the venue, held in May 2019, became a sensation after attracting more than 100,000 fans over two nights.

This time, approximately 80,000 ARMYs packed the stadium in a single night, arriving in outfits dominated by red, wнιтe, black, and purple. For more than two hours, the cheers and chants barely stopped. One of the most emotional moments came during "Body To Body," when the entire au∂ιєnce sang кσяєα's traditional folk song "Arirang" in unison, creating a goosebump-inducing atmosphere throughout the venue.

The BTS members were equally energized by the overwhelming support from the crowd. But sometimes getting too hyped can lead to υиєχρє¢тє∂ mishaps. This time, the member responsible for one of the night's funniest moments was none other than leader RM, while V υиєχρє¢тє∂ly found himself having to "rescue" the situation!

During the performance of "Normal," RM appeared to be completely immersed in the music. The rapper spent the song interacting with fans near the stage and vibing to the rhythm so enthusiastically that he completely forgot where he was supposed to stand on his lifting platform. While the other members gradually returned to their αѕѕigned positions in preparation for the next stage effect, RM remained several steps ahead, seemingly unaware that he was in the wrong place.

As the first member to notice what was happening, V immediately tried to alert his bandmate. However, what should have been a simple reminder quickly turned into a hilarious battle for RM's attention. While continuing to sing his own part, V repeatedly called out to RM in time with the beat and gestured toward him with his hands. Yet for several minutes, RM remained completely absorbed in the excitement of the performance, seemingly oblivious to the fact that someone was trying to get his attention.

After countless failed attempts, V could only shake his head helplessly while continuing to stare at RM, hoping he would eventually notice. Finally, unable to wait any longer, he resorted to more "drastic measures." V took off the beanie he was wearing and threw it toward RM in an attempt to catch the leader's attention. The υиєχρє¢тє∂ move had the au∂ιєnce bursting into laughter. Unfortunately for V, even that wasn't enough—RM still had no idea what was happening.

It wasn't until RM's lifting platform began rising that V finally shouted, "RM, hey!" The call ultimately worked. Realizing he was standing in the wrong position, RM immediately rushed over and jumped onto his platform while it was already moving upward. The entire incident quickly spread across social media, becoming one of the funniest moments shared by fans following the first night of BTS's MetLife concerts.

This was far from the first time RM has unintentionally created a hilarious moment during a concert. Just last month in fяαи¢є, Jimin and SUGA found themselves in a very similar situation!

After an especially high-energy performance, RM casually sat down on the stage without realizing he was not yet in the correct position for the next song. Seeing what had happened, Jimin quickly pulled the leader back to his proper spot before returning to his own position. RM immediately followed his instructions, gestured for the members to get ready for the next performance—and then promptly sat back down again in exhaustion. Watching the entire sequence unfold from the opposite side of the stage, SUGA laughed so hard that his shoulders visibly shook.

Compared to Jimin and SUGA, however, V clearly had a much harder time bringing RM back to reality. Fans were thoroughly amused by V's patience as he tried every possible way to signal his older bandmate over an extended period of time. Some even joked that it was fortunate V was the one who noticed the mistake instead of j-hope, because if it had been him, RM might not have received such patient treatment—or simply an adorably frustrated beanie toss. Social media was soon flooded with hilarious fan reactions:

- The pure desperation in Taehyung’s voice for Namjoon is so adorable. At least it was not Tae's mic that he threw to Namjoon!

- The more clips I see, the funnier it gets. Their chemistry is just natural, and that’s exactly why people love watching them

- He was fιgнтing for Namjoon’s attention like his life depended on it. The way he kept calling his name and then literally started shouting during his part. Taehyung was NOT going to let Namjoon ignore him

- Thank goodness Hobi didn't catch that because the patience level would've been VERY different

- ARMYs losing it after Taehyung reminded Namjoon of his stage position by literally throwing his beanie

- This was peak comedy OMG they are always hilarious. Kim Taehyung is just so amazing

- Bangtan will never beat the "professional comedians" allegations

- Good thing it was Taehyung and not Hobi. Hobi would've dragged Namjoon back to his spot himself after the third call

- Bahahahahaha I love Namjoon so much, the way Taehyung panicked. Namjoon be like "dw I got this maaan"
