The Only Time SUGA And RM Had Argument, Accidentally Witnessed By A Big Hit Trainee

BTS initially began as a project with many trainees before Big Hit Music carefully selected the best ones to debut. RM and SUGA were among the very first trainees to join the project, and they were also the first ones to move into the company’s dorm.

Because of this, they are the duo who spent the most time living and training together compared to the other members. Their friendship has lasted for over a decade, becoming soмєтнing that anyone would admire. On top of that, ARMYs today frequently witness plenty of “harmonious” and “adorable” moments between the two rapper brothers.

That’s why the idea of a “spat” between the duo seems almost unimaginable. But in reality, things weren’t always perfectly peaceful — especially when both of them were in their twenties, full of pride, living together in a dorm for long periods, which naturally led to clashes over lifestyle differences.

What’s precious is that, through these arguments, they came to understand each other better and built an even stronger friendship. The one and only heated argument between SUGA and RM during that time was recalled by a former Big Hit trainee, giving fans a rare glimpse into the foundation of their bond.

Specifically, according to the trainee, the whole thing started because of RM’s clumsiness. To ARMYs, RM is known as a wonderful, mature leader, but in reality, Namjoon was also just a young man with flaws — and a knack for α¢¢ι∂єитally breaking things. While living with the other trainees, he often broke items in the shared dorm.

Meanwhile, the one cleaning up the mess and fixing the damage was SUGA. He often repaired and reαѕѕembled the dorm furniture because he was good at it. But after repeatedly having to fix things RM had broken, there came a point when he directly complained to his younger teammate about it. This led to a big argument over how to handle the mess in the house.

The argument grew heated, words became harsh, and they even started throwing clothes at each other. It didn’t stop there — SUGA and RM also threw pillows at each other like kids. It was only when j-hope, Jimin, and Jungkook rushed into the room that they finally stopped.

The funniest part was that after seeing j-hope’s extremely angry face, both SUGA and RM had to “call a truce” and apologize to him because they had messed up the neatly folded laundry that he and Jimin had spent hours ironing and folding. Afterwards, the two had to re-fold all the clothes together — and in doing so, made up with each other.

That argument surely taught them both a lot, and their relationship improved significantly after the incident. Nowadays, whenever they talk about each other, they always show that their friendship is truly one-of-a-kind.

RM once said about SUGA: “When I think of him, I feel like my old homie in my hometown. He gives me comfort as an old friend, old housemate.” Likewise, SUGA expressed: “He's one of my favourite people out of everyone I've met in my life, as well as our reliable leader.”

Another thing ARMYs can clearly see from this story is that even though the argument got intense and chaotic, they knew how to express their anger without turning violent. It felt more like a childish scuffle — and that made it all the more endearing.

The story ends beautifully, and the takeaway here is that when the two argue and clash, they never intend to hurt each other. We all know that even within families, conflicts will happen, but those arguments are simply catalysts to strengthen the bond between loved ones!
