If you are a big fan of SUGA, you must be familiar with the name EL CAPITXN. This talented young composer once appeared on the 27th season of SUGA's talk show "Suchwita" under his real name - Jang Yi Jeong.

In particular, SUGA x ELCAPITXN is a Producer duo that often goes together. Since 2019, EL CAPITXN has always had credits in songs produced by SUGA. Notable ones include: 'We don't talk together' - Heize, 'Interlude: Shadow' - SUGA, 'eight' - IU ft SUGA, Mixtape 'D-2' - Agust D, 'You' - ØMI, 'My Universe' (SUGA's Remix) - Coldplay x BTS, 'Stay Alive' - JungKook, 'That That' - PSY ft SUGA...

In particular, in the collaboration project with IU in "eight", fans were delighted to see the 1993 trio working together and creating an impressive song, celebrating the 28th birthday.

Recently, in addition to composing music, the male producer also prepared to release an autobiography, telling about his life and his creative stories. In it, a few lines of confidences about his friendship with his "precious" longtime friend SUGA were revealed, attracting special attention from fans.

When talking about SUGA, EL CAPITXN wrote: "I turned down Yoongi’s offer to work together at HYBE and joined a company that promised to release my album. Maybe it was because, at the time, I still thought of Yoongi as just a business friend. But when he said, “I like hearing you sing. If you’re going to keep singing, fix your throat first. I’ll cover any costs,” that wasn’t BTS’s SUGA speaking—it was my friend, Min Yoongi.

Yoongi and I met during difficult times and grew together. In truth, I was the one who received help—he was the one who helped me grow.

That’s why, sometimes jokingly, I call Yoongi “dad.” I always say this: "Maybe it was my real dad who raised Jang Yi Jeong, but it was SUGA who raised *Producer* El CAPITXN” 

Many fans may not know that this talented male producer was once a member of the boy group HISTORY and was active until the group disbanded before becoming a music producer for HYBE.

But one day, Jang Yi Jeong suddenly could not sing like before, even when talking, there were signs of difficulty. There were times when he wanted to greet the CEO but could not speak out loud.

Although he went to many hospitals, the cause could not be found because Yi Jeong's voice was still normal, so it was probably a nerve problem. The process of finding his voice at that time became the darkest time in his life.

Luckily, later, fate brought him and SUGA to work together and from then on, his life took a different, better direction. SUGA decided to help Yi Jeong debut as a songwriter, and DDAENG by SUGA x El CAPITXN was born in the spring of 2018, starting a new dream for the male producer.

Even in a conversation in Suchwita about a year ago, the male producer revealed that it was SUGA who offered to pay all the hospital fees so that he could treat his neck from the very beginning, even though they were not close. SUGA became the person who made him able to express the “pain” of not being able to sing that he did not dare to tell his own family.

That is probably why when writing about his close friend in his autobiography, El CAPITXN said “I call Yoongi “dad.””, "who raised *Producer* El CAPITXN”".
