Over the past three days, tens of thousands of fans from all over the world have flocked to Tampa, Florida to immerse themselves in a “purple festival” atmosphere at Raymond James Stadium. Under dazzling fireworks and the melody of Arirang, BTS and fans of all backgrounds came together to create unforgettable memories, easing the pain of three years of separation due to military service.
The nonstop cheers and a sea of glowing purple lightsticks turned Tampa into one of the most memorable stops on the group’s long-awaited comeback tour. In return, BTS gave their all on stage with high-energy, fiery choreography, powerful live vocals, and heartfelt interactions as they performed in the city for the first time.

After the final show, the members greeted fans once again through a livestream as a way to say goodbye before heading to the next city and to wrap up their emotions after three intense nights. Despite barely having time to rest—and even eating on camera—the group remained full of energy, chatting excitedly about memorable moments from the concerts.
SUGA shared, “Everyone had a smile on their face at the concert, so I felt so good.” Jimin quickly chimed in, saying, “I really loved it,” showing how in sync their emotions were. But from that point on, a hilariously awkward moment began to unfold.

SUGA suddenly recalled one particular scene that left a strong impression on him. He explained that when “Pied Piper” started playing, the reaction from fans in the front section exceeded all expectations: “I saw the people in front and some of them literally fainted like AHHHAAAJAHHH.” Not stopping at just words, he enthusiastically reenacted the moment with exaggerated flailing motions, sending the other members into fits of laughter.
He then doubled down, emphasizing how “real” it was with contagious excitement: “Really!!! For Real!!! I’m serious. They went AAAAHHHHHAAA faints. They were on the front left side!!! REALLY!” Faced with SUGA’s enthusiastic “exposure,” Jimin could only respond, “This is an exaggeration,” as if trying to save fans’ dignity.
The moment SUGA referred to happened during the second night, when BTS surprised fans by performing “Pied Piper”—a track released in 2018—as a special song in Tampa. Although BTS usually includes one or two rarely performed songs each night, “Pied Piper” holds a particularly nostalgic place in fans’ hearts. Its seductive melody, meaningful lyrics, and the legendary stage from Muster 5th Seoul seven years ago have turned the song into a treasured gem for ARMY. That’s why the crowd erupted the moment the intro began.
Even on stage, BTS seemed genuinely surprised by the overwhelming reaction. SUGA had to cover his ears for the first few seconds because of the deafening screams. RM appeared delighted, dancing happily at the sight of fans’ joy, while the other members watched in fascination as the crowd pαѕѕionately sang along.
Although being “called out” by their own idol on livestream might have left ARMY slightly embarrαѕѕed, it ultimately revealed the immense love they hold for BTS and their music. Moments like this—playful, honest, and a little bit embarrαѕѕing—are exactly what make the bond between BTS and their fans feel even more genuine and close-knit. Fans couldn’t help but leave a flood of amusing reactions under the viral video circulating across social media:
