Jungkook Becomes The First Idol To Do This On Livestream Just For His Fans

Among the many ways he interacts with fans, Jungkook has previously shared that Weverse Live is his favorite. And his actions have consistently backed that up, as the BTS member always makes time to go live whenever he has a free moment. Even during his mandatory military service, he would use his limited vacation days to chat with fans. His livestreams have become well-known for their wide variety of content—from talking with ARMYs and sharing updates about his personal life to singing, cooking, playing games with fans, and even sleeping on livestream.

Recently, during two rare days off from BTS' 10-day break following the conclusion of the European leg of the ARIRANG World Tour and before returning to the U.S. for the next leg of the tour, Jungkook appeared on Weverse Live once again. During his first broadcast, he talked about what he had been up to recently, including watching the film HOPE in theaters and attending Stray Kids' concert at Bang Chan's invitation. In his second livestream, he spent hours playing popular games such as Meccha Chameleon and Party Animals with fans.

What made the latest broadcast even more memorable, however, was the υиєχρє¢тє∂ surprise Jungkook prepared for fans before ending the livestream!

After spending several hours chatting and gaming with viewers that morning, Jungkook announced that he had to leave. However, instead of ending the livestream as idols normally do, he decided to leave it running. Before walking away, he opened YouTube and let its music continue playing for fans, υиєχρє¢тє∂ly turning the livestream into an online radio station. At the time this article was published, the broadcast was still ongoing, and there was no indication of when—or even if—Jungkook planned to return to end it.

Before leaving, Jungkook also left a series of heartfelt messages for ARMYs in the comments: "I have to go now, so I won't be coming back. If you want to keep listening to music, just listen to some songs, okay? Bye~ I'll miss you too." He then humorously added: "By the way, the songs aren't from my own playlist. It's just YouTube's recommendations, so even if some weird songs come on... please understand, ahah." Finally, he sweetly wrote: "Alright! I hope you had a good day, and if your day's not over yet, I hope the rest of it goes well too, hehe."

Jungkook's reluctance to end the broadcast and say goodbye left many ARMYs both emotional and amused. To many fans, it felt as though he simply didn't want their time together to end.

The moment also appears to be a first on Weverse, with many fans believing Jungkook is the first K-pop idol to intentionally leave a livestream running after stepping away. Normally, idols end their broadcasts as soon as they stop interacting with fans. Jungkook, however, chose to keep the stream alive with YouTube's recommended songs, allowing fans to continue spending time together even after he had left.

ARMYs were delighted by the unconventional idea, especially since many admitted they weren't ready for the livestream to end either. The comment section remained active long after Jungkook had left, with fans discussing the songs that were playing, reacting to YouTube's recommendations, and even jokingly speculating about how long Jungkook would leave the broadcast running before eventually coming back to turn it off:
