Laneige, the cosmetics brand under Amorepacific Group, launched a promotional campaign for its “Sleeping Mask” in collaboration with global ambαѕѕador Jin in the middle of this month. Jin’s promotional video quickly went viral on social media, capturing the “Worldwide Handsome” in his flawless beauty while highlighting the key benefits of Laneige’s sleeping mask line, which helps maintain optimal skin condition even amid a busy lifestyle and lack of sleep.
Shortly after its release, the sleeping mask line quickly rose to No.1 in sales at Laneige’s official Brand Store. On the same day, the “Laneige Bouncy & Firm Sleeping Mask” took the No.1 spot in terms of units sold in the beauty category of Naver’s “Chuseok + Sale” event before quickly selling out. The Neo Cushion foundation line, which came with Jin’s Mini Photobook as a special gift, also made its way onto the bestseller rankings at Laneige’s official store.

Laneige has continued to ramp up promotional content featuring global ambαѕѕador Jin across its official social media platforms. One of the contents that has been receiving plenty of attention is a quick interview, in which Jin revealed some of his everyday habits. Notably, the idol also cleared up a common misconception about his love of “food”!
Specifically, during the interview, Jin was asked: “What do you do when you’re really sleepy but craving a late-night snack?” Surely, many people, especially young people, are familiar with a situation like this. South кσяєα is even more well known for its late-night eating culture, with the кσяєαn language having a very common term for it: 야식 (yasik).
The кσяєα Tourism Organization has also noted that late-night food delivery has become deeply embedded in everyday life. Late-night food is also incredibly diverse and does not necessarily mean just a light snack, with popular choices including fried chicken, ramyeon, tteokbokki, jokbal, pizza, and more.
For a “foo∂ιє” like Jin, especially considering his well-known love for the dishes mentioned above, fans would naturally have expected his answer to be “eat.” In reality, his response was completely different. Jin shared: “I’m not particularly attached to food, so I don’t eat just because I’m craving a late-night snack. But if I break out in a cold sweat or start trembling, I’ll eat a little soмєтнing even before going to bed.”

Even if he admitted that he would eat late at night, fans would have completely understood. What surprised them, though, was his firm attitude toward saying no to late-night cravings. The idol even follows a fairly clear rule, eating only a little when his body actually shows signs such as breaking out in a cold sweat or trembling, in order to avoid becoming excessively depleted of energy. This level of discipline immediately made fans rethink Jin’s “food lover” image.

Many fans exclaimed that this could be one of the secrets behind his youthful appearance and seemingly ageless skin. Turning down an appealing late-night meal before bed has never been an easy challenge, yet it is a strict rule followed by those who pay particular attention to their health and appearance.
Eating food at night—especially instant noodles, fried foods, or sugary drinks—not only can leave the face looking puffy the next morning, but may also contribute to breakouts, fatigue, and excess calorie intake, making weight management much more challenging.
From someone famous for his love of food, Jin is now earning fans’ admiration for his ability to control himself in the face of late-night cravings: "Bro is me like sleep >> food", "He's so calm and serious about harmful things", "Jin’s self-discipline is seriously impressive", "Jin really knows how to resist. This is why he mantains his young forever beauty", "He plays games until late but doesn’t eat at night? That level of self-control is crazy", "I thought everyone loved late-night snacks. Like, if you get a break, why not eat?", "Just look at his skin and how youthful he looks. I feel embarrαѕѕed about myself",...
