Jimin Spills On Tang's Habit Thanks To Being SUGA's Close Neighbor

Around 2018–2019, it became widely known that the members of BTS moved out to live separately instead of staying together in a dorm like they did in their early debut days. However, even with their own homes, many members chose apartments that were not far from one another. For example, Jimin and RM have had about five years of “experience” as neighbors since both purchased apartments at Nine One Hannam in 2021. Meanwhile, Jin once revealed that his place is only a few minutes’ drive from RM and Jimin’s homes.

Notably, in a conversation this past March, SUGA υиєχρє¢тє∂ly shared that he had also moved to live near RM and, in particular, right next door to Jimin. According to some кσяєαn media reports, SUGA may have moved there in 2023, after relocating multiple times—from UN Village in 2018 to Parc Hannam in 2021.

With them living so close to each other—and with fans having spotted RM and Jimin biking together around their apartment complex on multiple occasions—it can be αѕѕumed that the members frequently visit one another or hang out together. Fans also believe this is exactly why Jimin knows so well about a new habit of Tang, SUGA’s 3-year-old pet cat, as he revealed during their latest livestream.

Specifically, during the livestream following BTS’s final concert in Tampa, a humorous exchange between the members quickly drew attention. While talking about sports, Jimin suddenly turned to SUGA and said, “Tang likes to play ball so why don't you do it, hyung?” Not мιѕѕιиg a beat, SUGA fired back, “That's Tang. Am I Tang?”, making fans burst into laughter at the witty exchange.

The reason Jimin brought up Tang’s love for playing with a ball stemmed from an earlier conversation where the members were discussing playing pickleball in Tampa. Between the second concert and the third night, Jin, V, and j-hope were seen enthusiastically playing pickleball together and clearly enjoying it. So afterward, j-hope excitedly invited SUGA to join them. However, the rapper flatly refused with a response that was both “realistic” and humorous: “I'm against that idea. I'm not into ball games, I'd just end up losing my ankle.”

This only made the situation even more entertaining. Jimin seemed to be emphasizing that even though they are both “cats” in a sense—and SUGA is even Tang’s owner—the actual cat is active and loves to play, while the “human cat” prefers lying still. But SUGA, as always, didn’t give his younger member a chance to tease him further, clapping back with a savage yet obvious truth: he’s not a cat.

On the other hand, the fact that Jimin knows Tang enjoys playing with a ball also shows that he spends quite a bit of time around Tang, further highlighting the close, family-like bond among the BTS members. Naturally, this made fans even more excited, commenting:

- That’s a valid reason Jiminahhhhh hahahaha. Jimin is the head of Yoongi cat agenda

- Not one straight answer when these two are together. Bickering as always

- You can tell they visit each other all the time… how else would Jimin know what Tang does in his free time?

- So Jimin is around Tang enough to know that. Aww, every little detail shows just how close the BTS family is

- I really love it when yoongi is this goofy coz he's funny as h3ll. I love their bickering

- Living nearby + constantly hanging out = Jimin becoming Tang’s unofficial second owner

- Omfg yoonmin bickering continuously we're actually really back gng. These two conversation is so halirious

- The fact that Jimin knows Tang’s habits this well just proves how often they hang out at each other’s places. That’s real neighbor goals
