Jimin And Jungkook Share How They Reward Themselves After A Hard Day’s Work

BTS are clearly among the top K-pop stars today, so their schedule is naturally packed. Having just returned in March, the group immediately began their world tour in April. Meanwhile, every city they stop in has at least one concert night, with some locations hosting up to three consecutive shows. In total, BTS will travel through 34 cities with 85 concerts scheduled all the way until the end of next April, not including promotional schedules, filming, and songwriting work behind the scenes.

Overall, BTS’s time for rest is extremely rare, and they have lived this way for more than 10 years since debuting. Even after completing their military service, the members barely took any extended break and instead returned to work almost immediately. Despite that, on stage they always appear full of energy, performing at “100 percent power” for hours at a time.

Because of this, many fans have been curious about what BTS do to “recharge” after such exhausting workdays. In an interview with ELLE נαραи, Jimin and Jungkook revealed a little about their routine, satisfying fans’ curiosity about the everyday life of superstars.

When asked, “What do you do as a ‘reward for yourself’ after working hard?”, Jungkook answered almost immediately, without much hesitation, that the very first thing he does after getting home is… taking a shower. His answer instantly made Jimin laugh because it was exactly what he had been thinking too. “Huh? That’s exactly what I was about to say!” Jimin reacted in surprise at how alike they were.

The two did not stop there — they also talked about other habits, such as “roughly drying my hair,” “sitting on the sofa, turning on the TV,” and the most interesting of all: “a glαѕѕ of beer.” As Jungkook listed these little details as his self-reward after a hard day’s work, Jimin agreed with every single one and briefly concluded with, “Exactly.” It seems this is quite a common routine among some of the members, especially the younger ones in the group.

When the stars’ revelations were shared on social media, fans burst into laughter at how amusing these “self-rewards” were. In reality, there was nothing particularly complicated or luxurious compared to their level — just simply taking care of themselves or relaxing, like lying on the sofa watching TV with a favorite drink, was enough for the stars to recharge.

Fans also realized that the idols pour an enormous amount of energy and effort into their busy schedules, so when they return home, what they want most is simply for their bo∂ιєs to truly rest, their muscles to relax, and their minds to feel at ease. Behind the stage lights and global fame, the idols are ultimately just ordinary people with tired bo∂ιєs after work and very simple needs for rest.

On the other hand, the idols’ comments also serve as useful advice for fans to learn from. Many young people today do not prioritize themselves in this way. Sometimes they overwork themselves or pursue excessive forms of entertainment without realizing that taking time for themselves and caring for their bo∂ιєs is just as important.

The topic of self-rewards after a long day of work has been trending within the fan community, attracting many comments such as:

- So now Jikook is already feeling like the dads from the cartoons they watched as kids

- The "you are me, I am you". Just kidding, but we should actually take a page from their book—the most important thing is ourselves

- Jimin x Jungkook is a powerful ace duo !! Love the way they enjoy their free time by themselves.

- Ah, those essential beers for young people—Jimin and Jungkook really are typical Gen Z!

- OMG, literally me after work. We're so relatable

- Jikook just teaching us how to adult properly

- That glαѕѕ of beer tho… iconic. Can we all agree this is peak Gen Z energy?

- Exactly! Sometimes the simplest self-rewards are the best

- Honestly, I’ve never felt closer to BTS than now
