On August 5 and 6 (local time), BTS held their BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG IN Foxborough concerts at Gillette Stadium, drawing approximately 130,000 attendees over the two nights. The entire area took on a festival-like atmosphere as tens of thousands of fans from across the United States and around the world flocked to the venue. Roads leading to Gillette Stadium remained heavily congested before and after each concert.
During the main show, the members captivated the au∂ιєnce with powerful live vocals and explosive performances of tracks from their fifth studio album, including "Hooligan," "NORMAL," and "Body to Body," while also bringing back fan-favorite нιтs such as "IDOL" and "FIRE." In return, fans throughout the stadium sang along and cheered nonstop for more than two hours. Their overwhelming enthusiasm deeply moved BTS, allowing the members to fully immerse themselves in the concert and enjoy every moment with genuine happiness.
Besides being impressed by the incredible love and support from local fans, the BTS members also thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Boston. V excitedly shared, "Yesterday I finally ate a delicious lobster roll. It was really tasty." Meanwhile, j-hope surprised fans by sharing an υиєχρє¢тє∂ TMI about his older sister and brother-in-law while talking about his experience visiting Boston during the ending ment.
The rapper began by praising the city, saying that it was his first time performing in Boston and that he had been looking forward to visiting for a long time. As it turned out, the city lived up to his expectations! "Boston… the city is so clean, and your energy and reactions have been so pαѕѕionate. I think I'll be leaving with really wonderful memories. Yeah," he said.
j-hope then υиєχρє¢тє∂ly brought up his family, revealing that his older sister and brother-in-law had lived in Boston for a period of time. Before the tour, he had reached out to them for recommendations about the city. According to j-hope, the couple introduced him to plenty of things to enjoy in Boston: "They told me there are a lot of fun things to do here. They recommended hamburgers, lobster rolls, and said the seafood here is really famous. So during the time I have left here, I plan to enjoy Boston as much as I can."
He wrapped up his speech by thanking the au∂ιєnce, saying, "Thank you so much for coming today, and I love you," before ending with his signature catchphrase, "I'm your hope, you're my hope, I'm j-hoooooooope," prompting thunderous cheers that echoed throughout the stadium.
Meanwhile, fans who regularly watch Jiwoo's vlogs are well aware that her husband frequently travels to the United States for extended business trips, particularly to Boston in recent years. Around two years ago, during their wedding anniversary, Jiwoo flew to Boston and stayed for nearly three weeks while her husband was there on a business trip lasting more than a month. About a year ago, during another one of his work trips, Jiwoo visited Boston again, this time bringing their parents along to explore the city and enjoy a family vacation.
Given her brother-in-law's experience living and working in Boston, along with Jiwoo's multiple extended stays there, fans agreed that there could hardly have been better travel advisors for j-hope during his time in the city!
