Fans Demand HYBE Protect V As Anti-fans Plan To Attack Him Outside His Hotel In Portugal.

After several years of interrupted group activities, BTS has been gradually returning to shared schedules, drawing heightened attention from global media and fans alike. The most notable recent schedule was the group’s departure as a full lineup to Lisbon, Portugal, following a layover in the UAE. On the day of departure, Jungkook personally confirmed that the members were traveling for an important filming schedule, further fueling public curiosity about BTS’s next steps during this reunion phase.

However, the group’s return has also brought back familiar issues within idol culture, particularly the invasion of artists’ private lives. A number of overly zealous individuals reportedly tracked down information regarding BTS’s schedule and accommodation in Lisbon, leading to crowds gathering outside their hotel and appearances at private spaces without permission.

This, however, was not the most serious concern. The situation escalated further when fans began to detect signs of a direct threat targeting member V.

According to information shared within the international fan community, after BTS arrived in Lisbon, one of the individuals camping outside the hotel where the group was staying was identified as an anti-fan of V with toxic views. This person is alleged to have repeatedly posted hostile content about V in the past, spread misinformation about him, and has now gone as far as planning to cause physical harm to the artist. Reports claim that the individual was waiting for an opportunity to approach and attack him.

This information immediately put the global ARMY community on high alert, as the situation had escalated beyond an invasion of privacy into a serious safety threat against the artist.

In response, fans around the world quickly sent notices and formal appeals directly to HYBE and BigHit Music, urging the company to take immediate protective measures for V during his stay in Portugal. One widely shared message read: “We urge @BIGHIT_MUSIC @HYBEOFFICIALtwt to take urgent action and make BTS V’s safety their utmost priority following these threats of physical harm.”

In addition, fans called on the wider community to act responsibly, encouraging others to email HYBE to increase the urgency and visibility of the issue. Some posts also shared images of the suspected individual so that local fans could report the person to the ρσℓι¢є if identified.

The incident has once again sparked debate over the boundary between support and intrusion within fandom culture. Many emphasized that love for an artist should never cross the line into compromising safety or violating the law. At the same time, fans expressed hope that HYBE is fully aware of the threats surrounding the members and remains vigilant, taking all necessary measures to protect the artists. Social media has since been flooded with comments such as:

- Praying for the Taehyung's safety...Please GOD protect him.  I can't understand what's in their brain

- so it's gonna go like this? a deranged and mentally ill old btch is gonna threat against his safety and people will do absolutely nothing about it. after so many years they can't convince me they're unable to d0xx or do soмєтнing to make them stop so

- Tae is not a tool for fan wars or marketing games. He is a human being. This is criminal behaviour and must be handled by responsible authorities

- This is so obsessed behavior oh god, protect Taehyung and report this psycho b*tch

- this is mental illness and Taehyung needs to be free from them they’re camping outside BTS hotel in portugal to harm Tae physically WTFF????

- Could someone SS print out these threats and hand them over to the local authorities, which could maybe speed up the processes of getting more security for him?

- These mental patients need electric treatment. I can't believe they are targeting a singer just because of shipping! How mentally sick they are!

- This has gone WAY too far. Camping outside his hotel and making threats is not fandom behavior, it’s dangerous and criminal. How is this even being allowed to happen?

- I’m furious. This isn’t about privacy anymore—it’s about someone’s LIFE. HYBE needs to step up immediately before soмєтнing irreversible happens
