During BTS’s visit to вяαzιℓ last weekend, CazéTV held an exclusive interview with five members of the group: RM, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. The members enthusiastically immersed themselves in the local culture through a series of fun challenges, including sports commentary, football-inspired games, recreating goal celebrations, dancing, and sampling вяαzιℓian cuisine.
Beyond the entertaining activities, the group also had some deeper conversations with host Isabela Pagliari about their careers and friendship. Among them, one seemingly simple question υиєχρє¢тє∂ly revealed a heartwarming side of how BTS look after and care for one another.
When the host asked, “Who’s the first to notice when someone else isn’t doing well?”, Jimin immediately named j-hope. The other members agreed, prompting the host to react with surprise: “Really?!” A little embarrαѕѕed by the praise, j-hope responded, “You’d have to be good at picking up on cues.”
Jimin was quick to explain and stand by his choice, saying, “I think it’s j-hope... He can tell the fastest when one of us isn’t okay or is upset...” j-hope then added, “We’ve lived together for so long that, just by looking into each other’s eyes, just by feeling the vibe, we can understand what the other is going through.”
The members’ comments left fans deeply touched. Many agreed that j-hope was undoubtedly the right choice, while also echoing his words about how well the members understand one another. Fans shared their reactions: "My family", "Hobi notices the little things that others might miss. He has such a beautiful heart", "The way Jimin immediately said Hobi's name says everything", "No wonder they call him their human sunshine", "Hobi brings warmth to everyone", "Seven people who know each other so deeply",...
This is far from the first time Jimin or other BTS members have acknowledged j-hope’s dedication and attentiveness toward the rest of the group.
In a letter to j-hope at the end of BTS Bon Voyage Season 2, Jimin wrote: “As a younger brother and a member of the team, I learn a lot from you. You always take good care of us. You pay attention to us and work hard. I know. I want to say thank you with all my heart.”
During a special interview with Hulu, Jimin went on to explain that j-hope’s selflessness is what makes him so unique. “Everyone has hard times, and he most definitely has hard times too,” Jimin continued. “But the fact that he thinks a member having a hard time is more frustrating than his own is so sweet, kind, and thoughtful. He's such a thankful member that I think, ‘If he was not in our team, would this team ever have reached where we are now?’”
V also praised j-hope during the same interview, saying, “He’s very sweet and takes care of everything.”

Stories from the past further show that Jimin and V’s comments were far more than just casual compliments.
j-hope is well known among fans for his iconic “judging” gaze, as they often notice how closely he watches and observes the people around him. Perhaps it is precisely this keen sense of observation that allows him to pick up on the members’ emotions, recognize when they need encouragement, and spot potential dangers around them so he can protect them.
A clear example can be seen in an old clip, where he noticed Jimin holding his neck and immediately asked if he was hurt.
Another legendary, rather hilarious example came from a BTS FESTA 2015 broadcast. SUGA recalled that while he was using a public restroom, ℓσѕт in deep thought, he let out a sigh. That one little sigh was enough for j-hope, who was in the neighboring stall, to notice immediately and call out, “SUGA hyung?”
In Break the Silence, j-hope also accurately picked up on Jungkook’s disappointment with his performance, which had left the youngest member in tears. He gently advised Jungkook to learn to manage his energy and avoid pushing himself to the point of “dancing until his body breaks,” explaining that knowing one's limits is also part of being a professional.
