BTS Mention Their Enormous Earnings And How They Divide Profits Among Members

BTS are no longer just a leading K-pop idol group; they have grown into a global brand—a pop icon of the 21st century. From small stages in South кσяєα to sold-out tours around the world, BTS’s journey is a clear testament to their perseverance, talent, and relentless drive to move forward. Their remarkable success has also transformed the members from trainees who once struggled to make ends meet into millionaires in their 30s.

According to a recent report from Seoul, South кσяєα, the estimated net worth of each BTS member in 2025 is nothing short of impressive. Among them, V is believed to be the wealthiest, with an estimated net worth of around $40 million, while the other members are said to possess between $30–35 million, earned through group activities, solo projects, endorsements, and personal business ventures.

Even so, BTS have never directly disclosed their exact earnings to the public. Interestingly, in a recent conversation between Suga, RM, and Epik High on the show EPIKASE, the members of Epik High brought up the topic and unintentionally revealed part of the story behind the “mαѕѕive” earnings of these K-pop superstars.

Specifically, Tablo recalled, "When Yoongi (SUGA) first joined his agency as a trainee, it was during my difficult 'Tajinyo' period." SUGA added, "Back then, you told me, 'Save up a lot of money'". Tablo explained that at the time, he felt his life was over and realized the industry could end in an instant, so he wanted to advise his juniors starting out. He then added humorously, "He really saved up a lot after that advice," and SUGA quipped back, "I’m good at saving." Tablo reminisced, "Anyway, you were so fresh back in your trainee days."

RM expressed curiosity about how Epik High decided to split their income equally (1/N). When asked if BTS does the same, RM drew attention by confirming, "We also split it 1/N."

Tablo joked in response, "I want to do that too. My bucket list is to split 1/N with BTS. While you're on tour, I'll be BTS and RM can be Tablo. It’s a huge loss for BTS, but a win for us." DJ Tukutz added, "If RM joins, I won't split 1/N," to which RM replied, "I don't even need to take the money." Surprised, Tukutz asked, "Have you really earned that much?" while Mithra Jin expressed envy at his financial comfort.

However, what impressed many people even more than the revelation of BTS’s mαѕѕive earnings is the members’ simple lifestyle. When Tukutz asked if they order Tangsuyuk and Jajangmyeon separately, and SUGA replied, "I order Tang-jja-myeon (a half-and-half bowl). Having struggled a lot when I was young, my tastes haven't changed. I don't really have an interest in buying things."

Tablo also shared a memorable anecdote to highlight the simplicity of these millionaire superstars: "When we eat together, I want to take the BTS members to nice places, but they just show up in slippers to eat stir-fried chicken gizzards", he recalled.

Following these revelations, fans expressed admiration for how BTS operates—especially their decision to split profits evenly among all members. Many praised this financial approach, seeing it as a reflection of fairness and transparency within the group. At the same time, it is also considered one of the key factors that has helped BTS maintain such a strong bond for over a decade.

Beyond that, BTS’s modest lifestyle, humility, and their mindset of “never forgetting where they came from” continue to earn deep respect from fans. Despite reaching the pinnacle of fame and possessing immense wealth, they are not consumed by materialism or swayed by luxury and extravagance!

Fans also recalled BTS’s genuinely astonished reactions when seeing cash prizes on Run BTS, their amazement at expensive menu items, their habit of being frugal with everyday items, and even competing enthusiastically just to win food during challenges—remarking that their true nature has never changed over the years!
