BTS arrived in Foxborough after wrapping up two nights of concerts at MetLife Stadium three days earlier. The group is expected to attract around 130,000 fans across two sold-out shows at the home of the New єиgℓαи∂ Patriots — Gillette Stadium — on August 5 and 6 (local time). BTS is the first K-pop artist in history to headline a solo concert at this iconic venue since the stadium opened in 2002.

During the show, BTS performed "Hooligan," "Normal," and "Body to Body" from their latest album, Arirang, as well as нιт songs such as "IDOL" (2018) and "Butter" (2022), receiving thunderous cheers from the local au∂ιєnce. V shared, "This is the first time I've come to Boston like this, and I really didn't know ARMY here would be this pαѕѕionate and energetic." j-hope was also deeply impressed by the energy of the Boston crowd, saying, "You guys are wicked incredible… You're all so smart especially when it comes to knowing how to party... for real. Thank you for bringing such amazing energy tonight."

Although the enthusiastic support from the au∂ιєnce gave BTS tremendous energy and helped the members fully enjoy the concert, it appears that they experienced some minor issues throughout the performance, leaving fans concerned!

Based on videos that have been widely shared across social media, several BTS members, particularly SUGA and Jin—especially SUGA—were seen repeatedly taking the opportunity to use eye drops on stage throughout the show. One video that quickly went viral captured SUGA seemingly feeling discomfort in one of his eyes and asking Jungkook to check it for him. Jungkook immediately stepped closer, widened his eyes, and carefully examined SUGA's eye, only to gently shake his head while saying, "I can't see anything."

These videos clearly suggest that some of the members experienced some kind of eye discomfort during the concert. They also sparked discussion among fans. Some ARMYs believe that wearing contact lenses for an extended period, combined with continuous performances under intense stage lights and the hot, dry weather, may have caused their eyes to become dry. Meanwhile, others pointed out that Gillette Stadium is an outdoor venue, meaning that strong winds could have blown light dust or pollen into their eyes.

The situation also reminded many ARMYs that SUGA previously suffered from a stye, making fans even more concerned after seeing him repeatedly use eye drops during the Foxborough concert. During BTS' Las Vegas concerts, SUGA eventually had to wear glαѕѕes to cover the swollen area, while the painful, inflamed stye caused him considerable discomfort and affected his performance on stage.

As a result, ARMYs are once again worried and sincerely hope that neither SUGA nor the other members are dealing with anything serious. This is especially true as BTS still has another concert scheduled for tomorrow, followed by a packed schedule for the remainder of the BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'. Fans commented:

- Dry eyes happen when one is exposed to blaring lights constantly. Unfortunately there’s no cure except managing it with lubricants. General thoughts about musicians are they live luxurious lives but they sacrifice themselves for the music they make. It’s a very hard life.

- Could be allergies. I know there are certain trees in the area that don’t mesh well with a lot of people. Hope they're okay now

- I live here and I came back from a week out of town to the worst allergy attack I’ve had this year. They’re no joke and can really sneak up on you
