ARMYs Super Excited After Finding Out BTS Members' Shoe Size

Knowing the clothing or shoe sizes of idols is usually not a difficult task for fans of many K-pop groups. K-pop popularizes a fan culture of gifting idols, including designer clothes, shoes, and accessories. On birthdays or debut anniversaries, fan clubs often prepare dozens of expensive gifts wrapped in a unified color concept, sometimes delivering them by the truckload right to the agency's doorstep. To ensure the gifts fit perfectly, fans can contact the management agency, ask staff members for information, or even ask the idols directly about their measurements.

However, BTS is a completely different story! Since 2018, the group decided they would no longer accept gifts from fans. At that time, all seven members wrote heartfelt letters explaining that they did not want ARMY to bear any financial burden from gifting. They felt that the fans' generosity had already been immense, and it was now time for them to be the ones giving back rather than continuing to receive. Prior to this, in 2017, the gifts sent by fans had become incredibly luxurious—ranging from real gold bars and accessories worth tens of thousands of dollars to countless luxury handbags.

Following the members' letters, BigHit Music also released an official announcement regarding this regulation. Since then, information regarding the members' clothing or shoe sizes has almost exclusively come to light only when they reveal it themselves, or in rare instances where fans manage to catch wind of it. And of course, whenever that happens, they can't help but excitedly buzz all over social media about it!

The most recent time fans caught wind of a BTS member's shoe size was last year, according to an online post by a manager at a shoe store in Seoul. According to her account, a male customer walked into the store and asked to try on a pair of Adizero EVOs in a кσяєαn size 265 mm. When she advised him that this Adidas model runs a bit small and suggested trying a size 270 mm instead, the customer immediately agreed and, after trying them on, decided to purchase that size.

The interaction was completely normal until the customer paid and left in a waiting Bentley outside. Only then did the OP (original poster) sense soмєтнing incredibly familiar about his face and aura. After she curiously asked if he was a celebrity, another staff member revealed that the guest was actually BTS's SUGA.

At that time, the story quickly went viral online, and fans were thrilled to hear a rare piece of news about SUGA while also discovering that he wears a size 270 mm, which is roughly equivalent to a EU size 42.5–43.

During a fansign around 2016-2017, Jin once told a fan that his shoe size was 265 mm, equivalent to about EU 42–42.5. Based on this information, fans were quite surprised to find that although Jin is taller than SUGA and has a larger build overall, his feet are smaller—or SUGA simply tends to wear his shoes a bit looser.

In the show BTS Bon Voyage Season 4 broadcasted in 2019, when the members stopped by a winter gear shop, V mentioned that he needed a pair of hiking shoes in a кσяєαn size 280. From this detail, many speculated that V's everyday shoe size is around 270–275 mm, equivalent to EU 42–43.

Meanwhile, Jungkook shared with GQ кσяєα back in 2016 that his foot size was 270 mm. However, by 2021, that number had increased to 275 mm, and he usually wears a size 280, which is roughly equivalent to EU 44–44.5. This change in size reflects the remarkable physical growth of the golden maknae, much to the fans' delight. Some even wonder if, about five years since then, the youngest member of BTS has grown even more.

Ultimately, even though these are just tiny details, they are more than enough to spark lively discussions among ARMYs, including comments such as: "Their feets are not even as big as y'all say", "Remember when agustd was asking rkive for his shoe size", "You mean to tell me I wear a bigger size shoe than most of them?!", "SUGA and V seems like babies with big feet", "I always thought height and shoe size went hand in hand but not yet", "My shoe size is 4 (UK). Bro if Tae stepped on me I wouldn't get up", "I'm a woman and my size is 42 too....",...
