For the first time since completing his military service, Jimin spent about an hour chatting with fans on Weverse Live during his 30th birthday, despite having such a busy schedule that he couldn’t get a proper night’s sleep. Returning home after finishing his recording session, he turned on his phone and greeted ARMYs: "Thank you for wishing me on my birthday".
He mentioned that recently, the BTS members have been so busy with recording and making music that they cannot meet each other often, but fortunately, the work process has been going quite smoothly. "Recording process has been going smoothly, everyone's working hard and all, and just like I've mentioned before, I think we're just nervous, excited and all since we're not sure how you guys will react to it,” he said.
Fans waved off his thought! They αѕѕured that any music product produced by BTS is perfect, touching the hearts of fans around the world.
Besides talking about work, some fans were curious about the decorations in Jimin’s personal apartment, as he rarely did live broadcasts from home before. They boldly asked: "Show your house around?" But the idol shyly responded: "It's pretty messy, so I'll just show you this part" - the corner that were “ti∂ιєd up.”
Even in that brief glimpse, the eagle eyes of ARMYs immediately noticed a familiar decoration – a Bearbrick Jack Skellingto figurine dressed in a Christmas outfit in a corner of his home.
If you are an animation lover, you surely know Jack Skellington, the main character of The Nightmare Before Christmas, produced by Tim Burton and released in 1993. He is the “Pumpkin King” of Halloween Town, a town dedicated to Halloween.
The animated character, tall and thin with a round wнιтe skull-like head, wearing a black pinѕтяιρe suit, has become an icon in pop culture, especially among fans of cosplay or Halloween-themed decorations. Additionally, he is loved for his intelligence, creativity, and slightly naive yet overly curious personality.
For a long time, Jimin has shown that he is a big fan of this legendary animated character. In many of his autograph sketches, from his debut up to recent years, he has drawn Jack along with his name, even taking inspiration from the character’s font style.
During his military service, fans even discovered Jimin’s unique Jack Skellington autograph on a fellow soldier’s guitar case, demonstrating his deep affection.
In a BTS video recorded for Halloween 2019 posted on the official TikTok account, Jimin was also seen wearing the iconic pinѕтяιρe suit of this animated character. Meanwhile, he even gifted Jungkook a Jack-related item for the Maknae’s 23rd birthday.
To this day, Jimin’s pαѕѕion for the main character of The Nightmare Before Christmas has not faded. Fans jokingly said that he even eagerly decorates for Halloween and Christmas early with this figurine, showing his strong love for the character.
