V’s Luxury New House Revealed On Weverse Live Sparks Buzz, Reportedly Paid For Entirely In Cash

V recently updated ARMYs on his current situation during a Weverse livestream on the 21st. He shared, "It's been a while since my last live. I've been very busy preparing for various things." He added, "The time is almost here. I'm busy preparing for the Gwanghwamun concert, our world tour, and the upcoming 'ARIRANG' album."

Notably, V also revealed that he had recently moved to a new home: "I moved houses. I felt it was the right time, so I moved. I've been a bit busy because of that." However, he explained, "It's a bit early to reveal the whole house, so I’ll show it to you slowly, step by step. I have many 'new friends' (artworks), and I'll introduce them later."

Despite that, V still gave fans a brief tour of his new home, immediately leaving them in αωє of its spaciousness and luxurious atmosphere!

In the roughly one-minute video, fans could see that the house was decorated in a wнιтe-and-gray color palette with wooden interiors. V excitedly showed a plant he had personally grown, while fans also noticed that the familiar rose-and-baby photograph had been moved from his previous home. He also introduced another artwork featuring a bear that he particularly loves.

As V shared a glimpse of the interior of his luxury apartment, fans expressed extreme excitement, remarking that his home looked like a miniature museum due to the many art pieces it contained. They also praised: "Warm and cozy. Earth tones, plants, soft music. Its so him", "This is just one room in the house", "So clαѕѕy and beautiful like you Taehyung", "Penthouse looks unreal, the design is so clαѕѕy", "This place is insane—like a luxury hotel, but it’s his home", "He really lives in a masterpiece", "This is what ‘rich and tasteful’ truly looks like",...

Meanwhile, news about V’s new home had already been circulating since September 2025. According to reports, he purchased unit PH129 (The Penthouse Cheongdam) with a private usable area of 273.96㎡ for 14.2 billion won. The apartment includes five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Notably, records show no separate mortgage registration, suggesting that he paid the full amount in cash without borrowing.

PH129 is a luxury apartment complex completed in August 2020, consisting of a total of 29 units and spanning from six basement levels to 20 above-ground floors. All units are built in a duplex style. It was originally named The Penthouse Cheongdam but was later renamed PH129 to reflect its location at 129 Cheongdam-dong.

The building is known as a residence for many celebrities, including actors Jang Dong-gun and Ko So-young, golfer Park In-bee, and famous instructor Hyun Woo-jin.

Before moving into this expensive penthouse, V lived for about five years in the SK Apelbaum penthouse in Gangnam, which he purchased for approximately 5 billion won in 2019. Many of V’s past photos and livestreams with fans were filmed there, showing an apartment with a Han River view, modern interiors filled with lighting and greenery, a bright color scheme combining wнιтe, beige, black, and gray, and many expensive imported furnishings. Compared to his previous residence, V’s new penthouse appears to have been decorated in a different style.

Another noteworthy point is that since V and the BTS members began entering the real estate market by purchasing several luxury apartments, they have typically paid in full with cash, without loans. Meanwhile, housing prices in major cities like Seoul are extremely high, and the amounts these superstars spend on luxury apartments are far from small. This reflects the enormous wealth they have accumulated after more than a decade of maintaining their status as global K-pop superstars.
