According to BTS’ agency BIGHIT MUSIC, the group has officially wrapped up the North αмєяι¢αn leg of their tour following the shows held on September 1–2 and 5–6 (local time) at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles (LA). All 31 shows across 12 regions sold out, setting new records in the process. The four shows in LA alone drew more than 282,000 attendees. The concerts were also livestreamed on the fan platform Weverse, attracting viewers from a total of 177 countries and territories.

Only one year has pαѕѕed since all BTS members completed their military service, yet everything has changed completely. Now, looking back at their happy moments beneath the stadium domes and thinking about that period, fans cannot help but feel emotional. On this day in particular, fans are also looking back on the tearful yet deeply precious behind-the-scenes stories of the seven members, including a reunion at Jimin’s house that became one of the group’s most memorable moments.

According to RM, the period around Jin’s discharge was a difficult time emotionally for the other members. While Jin had completed his military service, the other six still had nearly another year ahead of them. RM recalled: “I can’t quite remember if it was at Jimin’s house or my house... wait, I think it was Jimin’s house. We all gathered at Jimin’s place, and ah... At that time, Jungkook was also going through a really tough period. Well, we were all having a hard time since we were all still active-duty sol∂ιєrs (private first clαѕѕ)".

There, all seven members had such a deep and emotional conversation that they could not hold back their tears, with Jungkook being the one who sobbed the hardest. RM recalled: “Jungkook was crying his eyes out, telling me to do my best to lead and hold the team together. We all cried. We talked about things like that, and we had a lot of deep conversations among ourselves.”

The story was later confirmed by V and SUGA in an interview with GQ around the time BTS released their album ARIRANG. V notably called it “one of the group’s most memorable reunions,” describing the moment: “Jungkook cried, he bawled. Jungkook cried because he really wanted to be onstage, and he just really wanted to perform.” SUGA added, “I could really feel how much love and pαѕѕion Jungkook has for our stage performances and music.” 

It was after that emotional, tear-filled conversation that the idea for BTS’ ARIRANG album and World Tour gradually began to take shape. Looking at their journey — from heading to the US immediately after completing their military service, to finishing the album for its release at the end of March, then immediately launching their World Tour and completing 48 out of 88 shows in just four months — it is clear just how much BTS as a whole, and Jungkook in particular, missed music, the stage, and their fans.

Fans have always known that being away from the stage and their fans while living in a completely different environment for such a long period placed enormous pressure on the members. Yet it was only after they revealed this tearful conversation that fans truly realized just how difficult that period had been for them, leaving many deeply heartbroken. Still, it is comforting to know that those difficult days are now behind them, and from here on, BTS and ARMYs can look forward to nothing but happy days together, forever.

Fans expressed a mix of emotions as they discussed this precious memory:
