Since a long time ago, fans have known that most BTS members have their own personal studios inside the HYBE building. These are the places where the members create many of the group’s нιт songs as well as their individual musical works, and they are a very distinctive part of the working culture of these top global K-pop superstars.
Up to now, fans have been able to see at least four of BTS’s private workrooms. RM has been well-known for “Rkive” since the group’s debut, and the BTS leader has carried out many of his live broadcasts there.

SUGA’s “Genius Lab” is αѕѕociated with memes about him forgetting pαѕѕwords and even the rug with the slogan “Go Away”. His most recent live broadcast before enlisting for military service was also carried out in this room.

Meanwhile, the place that produced “Hope World” and “Jack In The Box” is j-hope’s “Hope World” studio. BTS’s Golden Maknae has also been seen in a room called the “Golden Closet.”

That leaves three members of the vocal line who have not yet set up studios of their own: Jin, Jimin, and V. But it seems that one of these names will soon be taken off the list!
On November 25, some fans discovered that V recently appears to be preparing his own studio, based on interior-related information spreading across social media. It was reported that an exclusive high-end speaker was specially made for the male idol and will be placed in his personal recording studio. The project was confirmed to have only a single unit in the entire world.

The speaker’s casing was crafted in Daegu by Zimmermann Audio, led by CEO Kim Tae-hoon, who also collaborates with European outdoor furniture manufacturers. The sound calibration was entrusted to Maruchi from Sound Forum, a company well-known in the field of audio equipment repair and a former consultant for Tannoy.
The speaker structure is designed in a two-way format with a horn-shaped driver, inspired by the design of the Tannoy Mini Autograph. The speaker is not designed for studio monitoring but specifically for enjoying music with rich and full tonality.
The original size was larger, but the team redesigned it so it could be mounted on the studio wall. A custom crossover for each channel was developed so that the bαѕѕ would remain powerful even when placed high up. The horn device and acoustic network are currently being finalized. Audio Guide and K Audio stated that they will share sound samples after testing.
As soon as this news spread, it attracted significant attention from fans. Some began wondering what V would name his studio. If based on his Instagram username, “thV” would be a strong contender. Meanwhile others thought further about the reasons behind him building a personal studio. They speculated that he is very likely “cooking” soмєтнing.
On social media forums, a series of amusing comments about V’s latest news was shared:
- Girllll wdym!??? Omgggggggg V’s studio omggggg. That thV company is about to come in public
- Omg he's finally having his own studio. Hoping for many healing music to come out of this studio. Best things are yet to come.

- He’s cooking soмєтнing for sure. He produced his solo album without needing a personal studio, but it seems whatever he’s cooking up now requires more than that — and thus, the studio was born.
