As the year draws to a close, the BTS members are all busy with packed schedules ahead of the new year—a time they previously promised fans would mark their long-awaited return after a three-year hiatus due to mandatory military service. Even amid their hectic routines, however, the members continue to share warm, end-of-year moments with fans through social media.

In the early hours of the 23rd, V held a short, spontaneous livestream on Weverse that lasted just a few minutes. Appearing in casual streetwear as he began the broadcast, V said, “I turned this on briefly because I have soмєтнing to brag about. Please listen just once. On my way home today after taking a taxi, the taxi driver said, ‘This is a surprise gift. A Christmas present. Turkish chocolate,’ and gave me some chocolate.”

He continued, “I received it while saying, ‘Thank you. Thank you so much.’ I came on here just to brag about that. That’s all”. After sharing this small but heartwarming everyday story with fans, he ended the livestream. Although the broadcast was brief, fans enjoyed how he continued to stay connected with them in even the smallest moments. Some also speculated that his phone battery may have been running low—soмєтнing that has often happened to idols in similar situations.

Meanwhile, in the next day, V continued to share glimpses of his daily life with fans around the world through Instagram Stories. One photo that drew particular attention in recent hours showed a fluffy, snow-wнιтe paw, shared with the caption, “I can’t handle this.” Fans immediately recognized it as the paw of an adorable wнιтe cat.

The appearance of the cat sent fans into a frenzy, with many believing that it may be a new member of his household. In particular, V’s reaction in the caption revealed just how captivated he was by the cat’s soft, cotton-like wнιтe paws. That sense of being utterly smitten quickly spread to fans as well, leaving them equally charmed and convinced that the cat must be irresistibly cute.

In the past, V has shown his fondness for furry pets on multiple occasions. Fans recalled that shortly after his debut, he once owned a gray Maine Coon cat.

During a filming session for the variety show Run BTS, V was also seen affectionately cuddling a cat on set and playing with it with great enthusiasm.

On another occasion, when he appeared on PIXID under the theme “Are You Team Dog or Team Cat? Can You Find the Impostor?”, V openly expressed his love for cats and even hinted at the possibility of giving Yeontan a feline sibling, saying, “Because of today, I learned much more about cats. Tan, you might get a baby brother or sister soon.”

As fans recall that remark, they are also reminded of Yeontan, the late older brother, who spent eight years by V’s side before pαѕѕing away due to illness in December last year. It appears that a year after Yeontan’s pαѕѕing, V may have found some emotional healing and the motivation to welcome a new family member to care for.

The appearance of the cat has also deeply moved fans, who believe it will serve as a great source of comfort for V following Yeontan’s pαѕѕing. Fans further hope that somewhere in heaven, Yeontan knows that he now has an adorable younger sibling:
