However, what quickly drew the most attention to the post was V’s humorous caption. Apparently anticipating that a detail in his outfit might be misunderstood, the singer took the initiative to explain the appearance of his cream-colored pants.

“It’s not covered in dirt. It's completely understandable to misunderstandIt's originally like this. I'm serious, it's really not..” V wrote. He didn’t stop there, though. Taehyung reposted the photo to his Instagram Story and continued defending himself with the question, “What do I have to do for you to believe me?”

The detail that prompted V to explain himself repeatedly was his cream-colored pants, which featured brownish-yellow patches in a vintage style. The washed effect gave them an intentionally worn-in look, but it could also easily be mistaken for dirt stains on the fabric.
