The bond between BTS and TXT goes far beyond the typical senior-junior dynamic within the same company. At its heart, it is a warm and sincere relationship—one where the older artists consistently uplift their juniors with genuine care and support.
Numerous stories have surfaced showing that although BTS and TXT are two separate K-pop groups, the BTS members are always willing to step in and help TXT, especially during their most challenging moments.
When TXT was preparing for their first U.S. showcase, all the BTS members came to cheer them on and offer heartfelt advice. One particularly memorable moment was when j-hope taught Hueningkai to say, “The fans’ hearts are in here (in your pocket),” a sweet and humorous gesture that has since become symbolic of the two groups’ close friendship.
Leader Soobin once revealed that BTS leader RM kindly told him, “Since you're also a leader, there will definitely be tough days, so contact me anytime.” Soobin then actually visited RM’s house for a personal conversation when he was feeling overwhelmed by the pressures of leadership during the group’s early days.
Meanwhile, Jin also stood out in another story shared by TXT during the release of their 7th mini album The Name Chapter: SANCTUARY and their encore concert TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR . Notably, this was also the time when HYBE’s internal document leak scandal broke out, placing the company and its artists under immense scrutiny.
Soobin openly admitted that he felt immense pressure amidst these circumstances while preparing for TXT’s comeback. The negative news surrounding HYBE had caused a media storm, with many turning their backs on the company. Naturally, this backlash spilled over onto its artists, including TXT, affecting not only public perception but also overshadowing their promotional efforts.
Despite this, the members stayed focused and poured their efforts into their comeback preparations—and they revealed that Jin was a major source of encouragement and strength during that turbulent time.
Hueningkai shared, “Before our comeback, we had a meal with Jin sunbae-nim. We talked comfortably over dinner. We shared that we’d both be coming back, and we encouraged each other a lot. He told us, ‘I think it’ll go well.’ Since Jin sunbae-nim made a strong start with his pre-release track, we felt motivated to prepare well for our own comeback.”
Beomgyu added, “I was in touch with Jin hyung today. I sent him a message saying, ‘I’m looking forward to your album,’ and he replied, showing that he knew about our concert today. He also sent a supportive message saying, ‘I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s album release as well,’ which made me really happy.”
When TXT members shared these heartfelt stories, fans were surprised—and touched—by Jin’s role as a guiding force and motivator. Not just BTS’s eldest, Jin has quietly embraced the role of a big brother figure to the entire label, offering comfort and strength to younger artists during difficult times.
At the same time, it’s worth noting that Jin himself was helping restore the company’s image after his military discharge through his active involvement in music and entertainment. This is precisely why Jin—and BTS as a whole—continue to be admired not only by fans but also by their juniors and peers in the industry.
Fans couldn't hide their emotions and quickly expressed their affection for Jin through a series of heartfelt comments:
