The widespread criticism made Jungkook aware of the seriousness of the situation and issued an apology and a solution a few hours later. However, toxic individuals and anti-fans continued to attack him on SNS.

In contrast to the negative accusations of "political intentions", the brand "Basicks" - the ownder of the controversial hat gave their stance. Specifically, in the Instagram post, the brand explained clearly:
