More recently, just before Jungkook held his livestream on the 26th, some fans were lucky enough to run into him on his way home. The idol did not hesitate to take a selfie with an ARMY who is a Turkish international student.
Meanwhile, he also gave an autograph to a Peruvian fan. This person later shared a video of him signing with the caption: “TE AMO JUNGKOOK TE AMO” and tagged Jungkook’s Instagram account. The video is currently drawing significant attention online, with over 200,000 likes.
However, only a few hours after the video was shared, ARMYs uncovered a ѕнσ¢кing truth: the person who was believed to have “coincidentally” run into Jungkook was actually a stalker who had followed him throughout the night!
Specifically, on Instagram, the girl claimed that she had gone to an ATM and happened to run into Jungkook by chance. But in a post on her TikTok account — which ARMYs later found — she captioned that she had waited four hours to meet him. This suggests that she deliberately lingered around his residence to get an opportunity to ask for an autograph and take a photo with him, only to post it on Instagram for clout.
It did not stop there. Fans also discovered that she left inappropriate comments, calling Jungkook an alcoholic simply because he refused to take a photo with her. When checking her social media accounts, it became clear that she was not even a genuine ARMY or someone who truly admires Jungkook. At this point, fans are fairly certain that she is a stalker who planned to exploit the BTS superstar’s name.
This revelation has ignited a firestorm of outrage among fans. They are livid that Jungkook’s pure-hearted kindness was shamelessly exploited by a stalker with predatory intentions. What’s more, the community feels manipulated; many admitted to being deceived into feeling 'jealous' of a situation that was actually a terrifying breach of safety. Fans are now calling on others to stop spreading positive posts about her and are urging people to report her account and identity to BigHit Music:
