BTS successfully wrapped up three spectacular concerts on April 9, 11, and 12, kicking off their global tour titled “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’” at the Goyang Main Stadium. A total of approximately 132,000 attendees gathered over the three nights. The event was also broadcast live through “Live Viewing” in cinemas across major countries and regions worldwide, as well as on the Weverse platform, connecting fans from 194 countries and regions.
The performances from their fifth studio album “ARIRANG” — an album embodying BTS’s roots and identity — were staged with a harmonious blend of distinctly кσяєαn elements, bringing to life a vivid artistic production. The show completely captivated the au∂ιєnce with groundbreaking staging that exceeded expectations. The members emotionally shared: “After about four years, we are finally releasing the album ‘ARIRANG’ and going on tour again. Today, we can truly hear the cheers from all of you, ARMY.”
Not only were fans present to witness this historic moment, but the families, relatives, and friends of BTS were also there on the second day of the concert to support the superstars. According to fans who attended in person, the members’ parents arrived early and even took photos together before the show began. Some photos shared on Instagram by Jin’s older brother and j-hope’s older sister also showed BTS taking pictures with their families backstage.

Meanwhile, a particular moment involving SUGA’s father is currently drawing significant attention within the online fan community!
According to shared videos and images, SUGA’s father appeared in the guest seating area dressed warmly and wearing a mask, carrying a large black paper bag. After greeting the parents of the other members, he walked over to the area where the leadership of the Min Yoon-gi Treatment Center was seated. There, he surprised everyone by taking out ARMY Bombs — the fandom’s iconic lightsticks — from the bag and personally handing them out so they could cheer for BTS.
The Min Yoon-gi Treatment Center is a medical facility inaugurated last September thanks to SUGA’s donation of up to 5 billion won — the largest donation ever made by an idol to a hospital. Following his contribution, the ARMY community also collectively donated an additional 550 million won to support the center.

On Instagram, Professor Chun Geun-ah, the director of the center, later shared photos posing with the gifted ARMY Bomb along with moments from the concert, accompanied by the caption: “How many nights like this will I ever experience in my lifetime? I could feel with my whole body why they are the best in the world.”

The simple yet heartwarming gesture by SUGA’s father quickly spread across social media, leaving many deeply moved. This moment was not just a gesture of support but carried profound meaning. Many ARMYs believe that his decision to personally purchase and gift ARMY Bombs — a symbol closely tied to the fandom — to others was his way of expressing love, support, and pride for his son and the group.
This story becomes even more meaningful when looking back at the past. SUGA’s father was once strongly opposed to his pursuit of a career in the arts during the early days when he dreamed of becoming a music producer. His opposition was so intense that when SUGA saw his parents at a BTS concert in 2016, he dropped to his knees and broke down in tears because they had finally acknowledged his dream.
The father who was once strict is now quietly preparing an entire bag of ARMY Bombs to give to people connected to SUGA — a transformation that speaks volumes. His journey from doubt and concern to understanding and support for both BTS and SUGA has left fans emotional. Parental support is soмєтнing every child hopes to receive, and SUGA has finally found it.
Fans expressed their emotions after witnessing this moment:
- The fact that Yoongi's dad sat next to the folks from the Min Yoongi Treatment Center and even handed out armyвσмвs to them warmed my heart so much that I'm melting
- I am so happy that all the members seem to have such amazing parents supporting them
- SUGA and his father are alike—both are reserved and may seem cold, but they have very warm hearts. Their shared love language is gift-giving
- Dad must be so proud of Yoongi. The moment SUGA’s dad handed out ARMY Bombs… I’m actually tearing up
- He didn’t need to say anything—just bringing those ARMY Bombs already said how proud he is of his son. And the three of them must be so proud of him too
- It’s the small gestures that нιт the hardest. From opposing SUGA’s dream to personally supporting BTS like this
- Giving ARMY Bombs to others so they can cheer… that’s not just support, that’s understanding the fandom too.
- This moment proves that behind BTS’s success, there’s also love and support from family. I’m so emotional right now
- Isn't it amazing? I'm so happy to know that Yoon is surrounded by good people
- I swear, the boys' relationship extending to their parents is the most beautiful thing in the world, for real
