BTS has recently become one of the hottest topics in Las Vegas thanks to their four-night concert series as part of their world tour, along with their historic “triple win” at the 2026 AMAs. After taking home the prestigious “Artist Of The Year” award, the members quickly returned to the Allegiant Stadium stage to complete their final two shows before heading back to Busan for the group’s special anniversary concert next month.
Among the members, SUGA especially drew attention from fans by showcasing both of his uniquely charming sides at the same time: his captivating stage presence and his natural everyday aura. During a recent soundcheck appearance, the rapper wore a simple all-black sporty outfit. Wearing rimless glαѕѕes and holding a microphone in his hand, he stared straight ahead with a deeply focused gaze, successfully drawing all eyes toward him with his uniquely powerful presence.
Meanwhile, once he stepped onto the actual concert stage, SUGA delivered a completely different image with trendy stage outfits and edgy accessories, cool charisma, and the overwhelming aura of a true rapper. However, one thing remained unchanged: he kept the same pair of glαѕѕes on throughout most of the performance — soмєтнing quite unusual compared to BTS’s previous concerts.

At first, many ARMYs αѕѕumed the glαѕѕes were simply an accessory SUGA added to complete his stage outfit, until SUGA personally revealed the real reason behind it, making fans finally realize the truth!
Specifically, while talking with fans during the ending ment, he shared: “Everyone, I had so much fun today. So we had three concerts and I’m not feeling at the top shape. I had got a little stye in my eye. So my eyes hurt a lot while performing, but thanks to your energy, I was able to overcome it. You know, I love Las Vegas. And this team came to Las Vegas in 2018. Anyway, I had a lot of fun today. And we have tomorrow's show too, so we're going to recharge our energy and make tomorrow's show great as well. Thank you!”
It turned out that the glαѕѕes fans saw throughout the concert were not merely a fashion accessory, but were actually helping him reduce discomfort and partially cover the stye in his eye. Many people who have experienced having a stye themselves also confirmed just how uncomfortable it can be — especially considering that SUGA still had to dance, sing, and perform at full energy for more than two hours straight. Even though he admitted he was not in “top shape,” his performance was still so impressive that nobody noticed anything was wrong until he opened up about it himself.
Fans expressed admiration for the rapper’s professionalism, and some ARMYs even emphasized that the glαѕѕes only made SUGA’s visuals even more attractive. Fans also sent him countless supportive messages and wished for his health to recover soon:
