On the 16th (local time), BTS continued their second concert in a three-night series at Santiago’s National Stadium in Chile. Around 69,000 fans waved their lightsticks and sang along to BTS throughout the two-hour show, making the stadium roar with excitement.
The enthusiasm of Chilean ARMY left the members deeply impressed. Jimin praised them, saying, “You guys' energy is the best,” while SUGA humorously remarked, “Chile! You guys know how to have fun.” V also expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you so much for being so pαѕѕionately excited tonight like this.”

In return, BTS kept taking fans from one moment of excitement to another, leaving them with one υиєχρє¢тє∂ surprise after the next. One particular moment involving RM has now gone viral on social media, sparking lively discussions among fans following the second night of the concert!
During the performance of “MIC Drop,” when he reached the iconic rap lyrics “Haters gonna hate, players gonna play…,” RM υиєχρє¢тє∂ly changed the line “Live a life, man, yeah. Good luck” to “j-hope. I’m so sorry for my fault.” The υиєχρє¢тє∂ change immediately sent the members into fits of laughter, while ARMY were left completely confused.
Many fans wondered what RM had done wrong to j-hope that made him apologize to his fellow member directly on stage. Some speculated that there might have been a behind-the-scenes incident they knew nothing about, while others wondered whether RM had forgotten part of the choreography earlier in the performance without fans realizing it, prompting him to make the apology.
However, all these serious speculations turned out to be completely wrong! The apology was actually a funny moment inspired by an old inside joke among the BTS members.
The original line, “I’m so sorry for my fault / 난 오늘도 고개를 숙여” (“Today, I bow my head once again”), comes from an old rap verse j-hope performed during his trainee days, taken from the song “It Hurts,” which some of the members once performed in an internal competition. The line sounded so funny and dramatic that the members began teasing one another by repeating it. They explained its origins in Run BTS! Episode 69 in 2019, and since then, ARMY have also become familiar with the phrase and adopted it themselves.
During the soundcheck before the second concert, an ARMY held up a sign featuring the exact line, “I’m so sorry for my fault / 난 오늘도 고개를 숙여,” catching j-hope’s attention. He even took a photo of the sign and shared it on his Instagram Story. RM must have seen j-hope’s post and decided to use it as inspiration for an impromptu shout-out during his signature rap part in “MIC Drop.”

At last, fans could understand the reason behind the leader’s υиєχρє¢тє∂ apology. ARMY couldn’t help laughing at the adorable friendship between the two members of the ’94 line, while also marveling at RM’s creativity. His rap lines never fail to surprise ARMY—and sometimes even his own bandmates:
- I'm really glad they're all just having fun. And to top it off, Jin is dying of laughter
- I want to see each members reaction. Please somebody do this for me. Namjoon is always funny with this line
- Namjoon u r soo funny and goofy. This time, all the members couldn't help laughing
- Their inside jokes gesture...Did you guys SEE even YOONGIE boogie is laughing?
- Jin’s hand immediately going to his head, oh bangtan and their old jokes
- Namjoon fιgнтing for his life while Jin just gave up entirely is the real content
- Jhope really out here apologizing for existing while namjoon and jinkook try to keep it together on stage i cant
