September 12 marks the birthday of BTS’s leader RM, and of course, ARMYs around the world had already begun celebrating since last night. In fact, birthday projects for RM had been launched months in advance.

Meanwhile, in honor of his 31st birthday, RM donated 100 million KRW to Asan Medical Center in Seoul to support treatment and surgery costs for patients in financially difficult situations, and another 100 million KRW to the Development Fund of кσяєα University Medicine to improve the treatment environment and expand various medical services.

This is the first year RM is celebrating his birthday with fans since completing his military service. As expected, he also held a short live broadcast with ARMYs on this special day as a way to celebrate.

RM appeared in high spirits, dressed in a simple wнιтe T-shirt, a denim jacket, and sporting freshly dyed hair. He even played upbeat music and vibed along to it, making fans laugh at his cuteness.

During part of the chat, RM also shared how the other members celebrated his birthday this year. Last year, he was still serving in the military and the members were all stationed in different units, so they weren’t able to celebrate together.

But this year, the members had time to meet up, so several things happened. First, RM revealed that last night he went out for dinner with V and had drinks with Jimin. “I ate dinner with V last night ib a restaurant in Seoul and I drank a few full glαѕѕes of whiskey with Jimin,” RM shared.

He also added with a laugh, “And Jin, I just met him at the gym and he gave me this ring. I'm not gonna marr- I'm not married,” proudly showing off the birthday gift from Jin.

What was even funnier was that, although Jin gave him the ring, RM said Jin was “complaining a lot” about how he was using the gift. “He asked why I'm wearing this on my ring finger? It's cause it didn't fit in any other. Jin hyung kept asking me if it didn't fit in any other finger, but it really didn't, like look, so I had to wear it on my ring finger,” RM continued, making ARMYs burst into laughter.

The ring Jin gifted RM is from the luxury jewelry brand FRED, for which Jin currently serves as Global Brand Ambαѕѕador. A few hours earlier, RM also showed off the gift in an Instagram Story post.

In the photo, RM captured his hand alongside Jin’s hand wearing two of the brand’s newly released bracelets, which made fans jokingly “suspect” that BTS’s eldest member was conveniently getting RM to promote the luxury brand. That said, the $8,000 ring is definitely a “worthy reward". Just kidding!

Additionally, j-hope—who is currently busy with his overseas schedule—did not forget to send birthday wishes to his same-aged friend through an Instagram post. The picture appears to have been taken during the time BTS members were in Los Angeles, USA.
