On this day, the fandom was drowning in a mess of chaos as some fans developed distorted thoughts and reacted negatively. Fortunately, at times like this, our leader is always the one who appears to give strength to the real fans and spiritually lead the fandom.

RM started a short live broadcast of about 20 minutes on the 6th to talk with fans before returning to his busy year-end schedule. This conversation worked like a lifeline for real fans amid the recent complicated situation, and even when many fans were thinking of leaving the fandom in a not-so-positive way.

RM did not hesitate to address the “disappointment” of “some fans” recently. He got straight to the point: “Many people are asking ‘Why did you guys throw late 2025 away?’ Well, of course we didn’t want to throw it too. We wanted to do a lot after discharge but there are reasons (we didn’t) that we can’t say. I have no right to say it. But I, too wanted to. Our last con was 2022. It’s been more than three years. Of course we are sincere and want to do a concert right away. But as you know, time flew and we need preparation. I can’t say(I dont know) about the members but I have a lot of burden.”

He continued, “Many people will be frustrated right now.. we’ll be frustrated cause it’s us, then the company for their reasons, and of course you guys too cause you’ve waited for too long but I’ve never taken it for granted. I’m someone who wants to work right now more than ever, it’s driving me insane. I hope you’re aware of that.”

He also added, “This live could even backstab me, but those who hate me would continue to hate me no matter what. No matter what I say, or how I put things, they’d just hate me and say ‘He’s always been like that! He just pretends to be kind and smart’” and concluded: “The people who used to like us, and then disliked us later might even return when we do well. We’ll be working with that sort of mindset.”

These remarks by RM were given in a context where a large number of fans, many of them K-ARMYs, were reacting harshly to the fact that BTS have no group activities in 2025 and were demanding the group to “pay them back.” This group of fans even said that if BTS’s comeback in 2026 fails, then “there will no longer be any domestic fans left.”

Some fans also pointed out that lately, reactions from a portion of K-ARMYs have become even more severe because of the dating rumor between Jungkook and aespa’s Winter going around. Meanwhile, HYBE had unclear reactions to different кσяєαn media articles, causing even greater suspicion.

It seems RM has been observing this situation, which is why he went live and made such statements. The leader’s strong words received a flood of applause from real fans. They also considered this a direct declaration toward the wavering fans or those who are criticizing and attacking BTS members amid the recent complicated circumstances:
