BTS will hold their ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN LIMA’ at Estadio San Marcos in Lima, Peru, on October 7, 9, and 10 (local time). This marks the group’s first visit to Peru since their debut in 2013, making the concerts quickly become one of the most highly anticipated events among local fans.
The excitement surrounding BTS’ arrival had already begun to spread across Lima. The Santiago de Surco district decided to temporarily rename Calle Sacramento in the Surco area “BTS Avenue” for one week, from October 5 to 11, and also put up public street signs.
Many tourist attractions were also prepared to welcome the group during their stay and performances in the city. The iconic Arco Morisco at Parque de la Amistad was lit up in BTS’ signature purple, while a special light show dedicated to BTS will take place there every day through October 11.
At “Fuente de la Fantasía” in Circuito Mágico del Agua, another famous landmark in Lima, BTS-themed events featuring music, lights, and projected water displays are also being held during the same period.

On the afternoon of October 6 (local time), BTS began rehearsing for their concert series in the city. Several videos quickly spread across social media, showing the members pαѕѕionately practicing, checking equipment, and getting familiar with the stage ahead of the first concert night. The videos were filmed from very clear angles, allowing the entire stage where the members were standing to be seen.
What drew even more attention were other videos showing large crowds standing near the stage, doing fanchants, cheering, and holding up their phones to record BTS’ rehearsal.
It is worth noting that this was a private rehearsal, which would normally not allow au∂ιєnces into the venue, unlike a soundcheck, where a limited number of fans are allowed inside. So why were these crowds seemingly given the special privilege of watching BTS rehearse in advance?
The answer turned out to be that they were not specially selected fans at all, but students from the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM) watching BTS’ rehearsal from the university campus!
Estadio San Marcos, where BTS will hold their concerts on October 7, 9, and 10, is actually located right on the campus of the National University of San Marcos. In particular, some university buildings have balconies and windows that directly overlook the stage area. From certain spots, students can clearly see the stage as well as the large screens below. That is why fans were able to see those “privileged” rehearsal videos.
A Peruvian television station also reported on this “way to watch BTS’ concert for free” as early as October 5, featuring footage taken from the National University of San Marcos campus overlooking Estadio San Marcos. Many local students expressed their excitement at least having the chance to see BTS after being unable to compete for concert tickets.
At the same time, this υиєχρє¢тє∂ privilege enjoyed by local students also amused other ARMYs. Some even jokingly expressed their envy of the National University of San Marcos students’ “free concert view,” commenting: "Luck is raining down on everyone except Arab ARMYs,” "They should sell " tickets" for the balcony", "That should be meeeeee", "Students get to see the concert for free. I'm not jealous with you guys in Peru", "Nooo, how envious I ammm", "I think I understand why they made the stage so bare like that", "Enjoy it, San Marquinos!!! You deserve it", "The concept of seeing BTS doing soundcheck at your school. MY GOD I want it too girlll",...
