Niana Guerrero Shares Her Thoughts On Being Followed By j-hope And Invited To Join A Challenge After His Concert

Niana Jose Evidente Guerrero, commonly known as Niana Guerrero, is a Filipino dancer, singer, and social media personality. She rose to fame through her dance cover videos on YouTube and TikTok. Notably, the dancer’s older brother is the well-known dancer Ranz Kyle, who also inspired her to pursue a career in dance.

Since 2010, Niana and her brother have uploaded numerous dance videos together, attracting millions of views from fans and receiving praise for their chemistry and adorable content. Following in her brother’s footsteps, she launched her own YouTube channel in 2013. Her channel quickly gained attention and subscribers, and to date, it has amαѕѕed more than 15.8 million subscribers.

In 2019, Niana created a TikTok account and began posting her dance cover videos on the platform. She quickly became a social media sensation with over 45.6 million followers, making her the most-followed TikTok creator in the Philippines and across Southeast Asia.

Notably, she became a hot topic among BTS fans after both j-hope and Jungkook followed her on TikTok. Moreover, when she attended j-hope’s concert in Manila, she had the chance to meet BTS’s dance leader backstage and was even invited by him to join his TikTok dance challenge for his song “Mona Lisa.” The collaboration was later reposted by j-hope on his personal TikTok account and has now garnered nearly 7 million likes.

Fans could not help but feel envious of the “successful ARMY life” that Niana Guerrero seems to be living. Meanwhile, Niana also candidly shared her feelings after being given what felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get close to her idols.

In her most recent interview with People Asia Magazine, she admitted that when she first heard people saying that j-hope had followed her on TikTok, it sounded so unreal that she thought they were lying to her. But when she checked for herself and realized she was the fifth person on j-hope’s following list, she laughed as she recalled, “So I’m like, this is crazy.”

What surprised fans even more was Niana’s revelation that it was j-hope himself who invited her to attend his concert in Manila and asked her to join the TikTok dance challenge. She described it as “one of the best experience in my life.” As an ARMY whose biggest pαѕѕion is dancing, being able to dance with her idol—one of the most widely recognized K-pop artists for his exceptional dance sкιℓℓs—made the moment even more meaningful to her.

The interview clip of Niana quickly went viral within the fandom. Many ARMYs commented that just by listening to her talk, they could already feel exactly what she must have felt at the time, as her eyes and tone vividly brought the moment back to life:
