On October 5, Jungkook surprised fans by sharing a series of new photos of himself with his beloved Doberman, Bam. Jungkook initially posted them on his personal Instagram account, but then immediately deleted them and re-uploaded them to Bam’s account, @bowwow_bam.

The photos captured moments of Jungkook wearing a dark pink fleece outfit and a black cap, sitting on a chair or bending down to pet Bam on the grαѕѕ. Meanwhile, Bam happily opened his mouth or lay relaxed beside his owner. The moment was especially meaningful because Jungkook is often away from home due to his work schedule, making every reunion with Bam feel like a moment of pure joy. ARMYs noticed that Bam still jumped around excitedly and looked at his owner eagerly despite their long periods apart, showing that the bond between them has not faded at all.

One fan emotionally wrote: “Those new Bamie & Jungkookie pictures oddly made me feel emotional. It's precious to think that no matter how much time pαѕѕes between them, bam will always be so full of joy everytime he sees Jungkook again. Their little moments together must mean the world to the both of them”.

At the same time, the moment also reminded fans of the wave of malicious attacks from ill-intentioned individuals targeting the father-son relationship between Jungkook and Bam, which has continued from last December until now.

Several social media accounts spread allegations claiming that Jungkook had abandoned his Doberman, Bam, at a training center despite having already been discharged from the military. Posts harshly condemning Jungkook circulated online, including remarks such as, “Jungkook… why haven’t you brought Bam home yet?” or “This has been suspicious for a long time… He brought his aunt home, his childhood friend home, and even his (new!) girlfriend home. But not his own  dog—the one he calls his son? Seriously, what is he doing?”

Another post went even further by deliberately distorting a statement Jungkook made in December 2023, accusing him of using those words as an excuse to justify abandoning his dog and portraying him as irresponsible. Bam’s Instagram account has frequently been flooded with inappropriate and negative comments about the father-son relationship between him and Jungkook.

Although Jungkook has never directly нιт back at those claims, he has quietly disproved these false accusations time and again. In particular, on one occasion when Jimin suggested that he leave a message for Bam, Jungkook did not hesitate to take the opportunity and gently said: “Bam, it’s me. How are you? Since you’ve been sick so often lately, I haven’t been able to take care of you well. I’m sorry for being so lacking. It breaks my heart. Seeing that you’re doing well there, I feel relieved. And I just hope you’re happy. I’ll go see you as soon as I’m back in кσяєα.”

And as fans have also seen, after the North αмєяι¢αn leg of the tour and a series of busy events during August, Jungkook used his rare day off to visit his son at the training center as soon as he returned to South кσяєα in September.

In fact, Jungkook has explained several times that he found a trustworthy place to take care of Bam while he is busy with his schedule and unable to stay at home. Importantly, Dobermans are different from most other companion dog breeds — they require proper training from a young age and plenty of space to exercise.

Therefore, having Bam stay at a training center is the best form of care Jungkook can provide for his son, rather than what the baseless accusations suggest. The claims were made by haters attempting to distort the public’s perception and damage the idol’s image.

Seeing the words and actions Jungkook has shown toward Bam, fans were deeply moved by the undeniable bond between them. Many also shared messages wishing Bam continued health and happiness, hoping he will live a long and joyful life by his father’s side:
