For K-pop idols, dating can be a sensitive subject and may even have a significant impact on their careers. This is especially true for BTS and Jungkook, given their immense popularity and global influence. Over the years, Jungkook rarely mentioned dating and he didn't seem to have time to do so.

Those familiar with Jungkook’s personality know that he tends to be introverted. He has also explained in the past that starting a relationship can be difficult for him because he is not the type to approach someone or make the first move.

His boldness is in stark contrast to his reaction when Jin asks RM what the difference is between a bobo and a kiss. While teenage Jungkook was embarra̾s̾sed and felt cheesy at Jin's question, now he's no longer embarra̾s̾sed and even braver.

Previously, Jungkook shared that his favorite trait in his girlfriend is someone with a strong body, toned muscles, and pretty legs. He also shared that he wants to be with someone who is smart. Great singing and cooking are also traits that Jungkook wants in a girlfriend.

But in recent years, it seems that Jungkook has felt certain career-related factors make it difficult for him to start a relationship.
