BTS' influence at fashion weeks has long been undeniable. According to a report by influencer marketing platform Lefty, the group generated an estimated 56 billion KRW (approximately USD 39.3 million) in Media Impact Value during the Spring/Summer 2026 Fashion Week season, which took place between September and October 2025. RM attended Bottega Veneta's show, Jin represented Gucci, Jimin appeared for Dior, V attended CELINE, and Jungkook made his highly anticipated appearance for Calvin Klein—each member drawing tremendous attention from both the global fashion industry and international media.

Building on that momentum, BTS members' appearances at Paris Fashion Week Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 are widely expected to once again dominate social media worldwide. However, while fans and fashion enthusiasts eagerly look forward to seeing the global superstars showcase their impeccable fashion, striking visuals, and commanding presence at such prestigious events, Jungkook recently admitted that he actually has one major fear when it comes to occasions like these.

During a recent Weverse Live broadcast, the singer candidly opened up about how he truly feels whenever he attends fashion events. Jungkook began by pointing out that if there's one member who genuinely enjoys Fashion Week, it's V. He added that j-hope and the other members are also naturally good at socializing, interacting with people, and embracing the atmosphere at fashion shows.

In contrast, Jungkook confessed that he always feels an overwhelming sense of pressure. "Whenever I go to places like that, I feel like I'm about to d1e. It's not what you guys think—it really isn't. That's just my personality," he shared. The singer even added: "I break out in a cold sweat even when it's not hot, I can't even make small talk with people, I'm scared to even make eye contact".

What he finds most difficult, however, is making small talk. Jungkook admitted that he has absolutely no idea how to start casual conversations with people, and that even thinking about doing so makes him anxious. "I'm even scared of making eye contact with people," he revealed.

The "Seven" singer also shared an interesting "survival trick" he uses whenever he has to walk through a crowd. Instead of looking directly into people's eyes, he fixes his gaze on a point straight ahead without actually focusing on anyone. According to Jungkook, this helps him feel as though he's looking forward while avoiding direct eye contact. He even joked that after attending events like these, he can barely remember the faces of the people he met because he was so nervous.

Despite those feelings, Jungkook emphasized that he has never considered them an excuse to avoid his responsibilities. For him, feeling anxious doesn't mean he can simply choose not to do his job. The singer shared that every time he prepares to attend an event, he encourages himself by saying, "JK (Jungkook), you can do it." He tells himself to gather all his courage and complete what needs to be done, no matter how nervous he may feel.
