On October 24 (local time), Jungkook and BTS delivered an explosive performance, sharing the stage with tens of thousands of fans at Estadio Único Diego Armando Maradona in La Plata, Argentina, as part of their ARIRANG World Tour. With his powerful vocals, sкιℓℓful choreography, and constant efforts to interact with the au∂ιєnce, the idol gave fans countless unforgettable moments.

Even so, there was one thing Jungkook felt disappointed about regarding his performance. During the ending ment at the final concert, he even personally apologized to fans for not being able to perform to the best of his abilities, leaving many ARMY feeling both moved and heartbroken.

While speaking to the au∂ιєnce in Spanish to connect with them more closely, Jungkook praised the energy of Argentine ARMY. He shared that during the previous two nights, the fans’ fiery pαѕѕion had practically “swallowed him whole,” but on the final night, their enthusiasm was even more explosive.

In particular, touched by the overwhelming love the au∂ιєnce showed BTS, he apologized to the fans, saying, “If I hadn’t injured the nerve in my leg, I could have jumped and enjoyed this moment with you all so much more. I’m so, so sorry about that. I apologize to you. Next time we meet, I’ll be healthier and stronger than ever!”

Jungkook felt guilty toward his fans but his words left them more concerned about the idol’s health.

In fact, Jungkook first revealed his shin injury around August 2026, following BTS’ shows in Baltimore, USA. At the time, he explained that the inflammation was quite severe, with signs of bone damage and a risk of developing into a stress fracture. The injury forced him to limit running and jumping, allowing him to perform only the movements necessary to keep up with the group’s demanding tour schedule.

Back then, Jungkook hoped ARMY would understand if he couldn’t give 100% during the upcoming concerts. He also reαѕѕured fans that he was taking care of himself and would continue treatment once he returned to South кσяєα.

Notably, about 10 days ago, Jungkook amazed ARMY at the concert in Santiago, Chile, with an impressive b-boying move during the breakdance section of “Butter.” He spun on his hands before using his strength to push himself back onto his feet, demonstrating remarkable body control, muscular strength, and flexibility. His powerful performance led some fans to believe that his injury had improved significantly.

Now, however, after hearing Jungkook speak about its latest condition, fans suspect that the constant physical demands of the tour may have caused the injury to flare up again, affecting the Golden Maknae.

On social media, many ARMY expressed that Jungkook had no reason to apologize for a health issue beyond his control. More than anything, they want him to get enough rest, continue his treatment, and make a full recovery instead of blaming himself, especially when he has already done such an amazing job on stage. Jungkook’s decision to speak Spanish to connect with the local au∂ιєnce and personally apologize to them made fans even more emotional:
