As one of the world’s leading K-pop superstars, successful both as a group member and as a solo artist, Jin’s wealth has increased significantly since 2016. According to estimates from leading global business magazines, experts predict that by 2025, Jin’s net worth will range between $30 million and $50 million.

In addition to income from music, real estate, and investments, business ventures are also listed as key factors contributing to the ever-growing fortune of the BTS superstar. For those who may not know, Jin’s father is a businessman, and his older brother owns several restaurants and beauty salons, suggesting that Jin may have inherited an innate entrepreneurial instinct.

One of Jin’s first major business projects was the נαραиese restaurant Ossu Seiromushi, which he co-owns with his older brother and which opened in 2018. According to official documents, Jin serves as a director, while his brother holds the position of CEO. When it first opened, the restaurant was located in Songpa District; however, by 2025, it had relocated to B1 Floor, Yuhwa Securities Building, 36 Gukjegeumyung-ro 2-gil, Yeongdeungpo-gu.

The restaurant specializes in seiro-mushi cuisine — dishes steamed in wooden pots. Various ingre∂ιєnts are placed into the steamer along with seasonings such as soy sauce, sake, and mirin, then cooked until evenly done and infused with flavor. The menu includes thinly sliced beef, pork, eggs, mushrooms, vegetables, and side dishes. Over the years, many celebrities as well as ARMYs have visited the restaurant and praised its menu.

However, fans were recently surprised when Jin's brother shared a notice announcing that Ossu Seiromushi would close on March 30 after eight years of operation. The announcement stated: “From the excitement of the day we first opened our doors, to the busyness of the busy lunch hours, to the moments we spent together at family gatherings and precious occasions, many times pαѕѕ by. To all the customers who visited our store, remembered us, and supported us, we sincerely express our gratitude. It was not an easy decision, but we will remember for a long time the interest and love you have shown us.”

The restaurant also expressed its appreciation to customers, adding: “We will operate as usual until March 30, and until the very end, we will greet you with warm meals. We were sincerely grateful.”

This latest announcement has left many fans feeling regretful, as the restaurant had become a “must-try” destination for many ARMYs. At the same time, fans feel saddened because it was one of Jin and his family’s pαѕѕion projects. However, they also understand the challenges he and his brother faced amid the continuously rising rental costs and increasing ingre∂ιєnt prices in Seoul’s bustling central districts.

Nevertheless, Ossu Seiromushi’s successful eight-year journey will surely come to a close with appreciation from customers and fans alike. ARMYs expressed their heartfelt sentiments after the news spread:
