Jimin Deletes His Comment Under an Instagram Post After Realizing He Made an Unintentional Mistake

During the two-day concert at M&T Bank Stadium (August 10–11), Jimin received an enthusiastic response thanks to his captivating visuals and commanding stage presence. The idol cleverly switched up his look each night, going from long, flowing hair that gave him a more alluring vibe on the first night to a softer half-up hairstyle on the second, creating completely different impressions for the au∂ιєnce.

Alongside his visuals, Jimin’s energetic performance continued to be a major talking point. In particular, the moment he performed a wave move at the end of “2.0” quickly went viral through fancam videos, earning praise for both the precision and power of his choreography and being widely shared by fans across online platforms.

After making a huge impression in Baltimore, Jimin and BTS have around five days off before continuing their tour at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, U.S., on August 15–16. During this rare break, Jimin was spotted spending time browsing social media. One of his most notable interactions was with choreographers Kang Hye-in and Choi Young-jun — all because of a funny little “incident”!

Earlier in August, Kang Hye-in and Choi Young-jun posted a video showing themselves performing a newly created choreography for Jimin’s solo track “Who” after arriving in мєχι¢σ. Neither of them is a stranger to BTS: Kang was behind the choreography for the нιт “Dynamite,” while Choi is a director at 1MILLION Dance Studio. He has also worked on the choreography for “I NEED U,” “DNA,” and “IDOL,” and was one of the choreographers who taught BTS during their early days.

Given their close relationship, it is understandable that the two chose Jimin’s “Who” to create a new choreography for, and Jimin naturally noticed and interacted with their video!

The funny part was that the idol initially wanted to express his surprise at the choreography video, so he left a comment saying, “Hyung, what's this? thanks” — but α¢¢ι∂єитally attached a yawning emoji. It is likely that the idol mistook the emoji for a gesture of covering one’s mouth in surprise. Needless to say, a yawning emoji in this context looked rather odd.

As soon as he realized that the emoji conveyed a different meaning from what he intended, Jimin quickly deleted his original comment. He immediately replaced it with a much sweeter message: “Thank you hyung”, accompanied by the Smiling Face with Tear emoji. This detail only made fans laugh even more, as the new emoji seemed to carry a hint of embarrαѕѕment and shyness after the little “incident.”

Although it was just a tiny emoji mishap, Jimin’s reaction still caught fans’ attention and amused them. Once again, he showed a very down-to-earth side of himself despite being one of the world’s biggest K-pop stars. Fans couldn’t help but laugh and discuss the incident:
