j-hope’s Words About The Member Considered BTS's Healing Pill Move Fans To Tears

As one of the world's leading K-pop idol groups, BTS have not only endured packed schedules and physically demanding performances, but have also faced immense psychological pressure. In numerous behind-the-scenes videos, fans have witnessed the K-pop superstars nearly collapsing the moment they step off stage, sometimes requiring medical αѕѕistance or respiratory support equipment.

BTS members have also openly admitted on multiple occasions that they have struggled with mental health issues. SUGA even underwent psychological counseling for a period of time, while RM revealed that he battled chronic insomnia and required medication as well as professional medical support throughout his military service.

Fans often wonder what extraordinary strength allows the members to always appear flawless in public—as if their physical and emotional hardships never existed!

According to j-hope, one of the most effective ways for him to recover when feeling exhausted is simply being around the other members. The clearest example came when BTS lived together at a songwriting camp in Los Angeles last year after all seven members completed their military service. “Now that I'm with the members, I laugh a lot. The laughter doesn't stop. Everyone's so funny. We're eating so well and we all eat together. How long has it been since we do everything like eating all together?”, he shared.

He then emphasized that he found recovery thanks to Jimin’s presence during their time in the U.S. He melted fans’ hearts with affectionate words about the younger member: “Jiminie is so funny. Really, he’s so funny. Park Jimin is my laugh button. When I’m having a hard time or am so tired, I just poke Jimin’s body and he makes me laugh.”

Fans often αѕѕume j-hope is the most positive and energetic member of BTS, but it turns out even he has moments when he needs Jimin’s support—showing just how abundant Jimin’s emotional ‘energy’ is. Meanwhile, calling Jimin a “laugh button” also shows how much j-hope trusts him and how happy he feels when he’s by his side.

However, j-hope is far from the only member to acknowledge Jimin as one of their strongest emotional pillars! During an appearance on Epik High's talk show, both RM and SUGA spoke candidly about how much they had relied on their younger bandmate during difficult periods of their lives. RM openly referred to Jimin as BTS's "hub," prompting rapper Tablo to conclude that he's essentially the group's "emotional support hub." SUGA also reflected on the emotional support Jimin has provided from their debut until now, saying that he “gets along with Jimin because he's so good-humored and mature”.

In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, when Jungkook was asked, "Which member do you consult the most about your concerns?", BTS's youngest member immediately named RM and Jimin. Speaking about Jimin's role within the group, RM once commented that the younger member “looks like a baby but inside he’s mature and like a Grandfather” — a reference to his generosity, emotional stability, depth, and the care he shows toward the members.

These stories also reflect on the members’ relationships: the members themselves are each other’s strongest source of support, both physically and mentally—especially after enduring long periods of hardship alone. And it leaves ARMYs even more touched!

Moreover, not just j-hope—RM’s case reinforces this idea as well. RM, who is considered one of the members who recovered best through “BTS therapy,” previously shared that he suffered from severe insomnia during his military service, and even after discharge, he always carried medication with him. Even with medication, he was afraid at night, struggled to sleep well, and experienced side effects such as fatigue and lethargy.

However, just a few months after being discharged and staying with BTS at the songwriting camp, he told fans: “I have stopped taking (sleep) medications now. Even if I do go to sleep a bit late, I don’t need the medications anymore", showing that living with the BTS members improved RM’s mental state more effectively than the medication he had been taking for about a year.

Many stu∂ιєs from the U.S., ιтαℓу, and ¢нιиα have emphasized the crucial role of family and loved ones for people suffering from insomnia, mental health issues, or depression. Experts also stress that “family cohesion”—the degree to which a person feels they belong and are acknowledged within their family—affects sleep quality. People with stronger family bonds tend to feel less lonely and depressed. BTS is the clearest proof of that!
