BTS successfully kicked off their WORLD TOUR “ARIRANG” with concerts held on the 9th and from the 11th to the 12th at Goyang Main Stadium. Despite heavy downpours on the first day and consecutive show dates, the members delivered over 22 songs live with full energy and pαѕѕionately interacted with 132,000 attendees across the three days.
After a three-day break to recover, BTS departed for נαραи on the 15th to prepare for their upcoming performances at Tokyo Dome on the 17th and 18th. The group is then expected to continue their world tour with a total of 85 shows across 34 cities worldwide, including North αмєяι¢α, Europe, and South αмєяι¢α, wrapping up in early 2027.
Since announcing their comeback in early July last year, the members have been working at full capacity—focusing on songwriting, recording, producing their new album, as well as promotional activities and preparing for performances and the world tour. In particular, releasing an album while simultaneously preparing for a tour has taken a significant toll on their mental and physical health. The members have also repeatedly admitted to losing weight rapidly during this period.
During a live broadcast in March, SUGA confirmed, “I ℓσѕт a lot of weight now. I weigh 59 kg. 59 kg", after fans expressed concern and asked if he had slimmed down. He also admitted that preparing for their comeback stage while simultaneously getting ready for concerts was not easy, and sometimes even overwhelming.

Meanwhile, V, who once weighed around 86 kg during his military service—described by the members as being as strong as a kangaroo—was seen at around 65 kg in a photo shared by Jimin in March, while Jimin himself weighed about 59 kg.

With heights of over 170 cm, such weights make the members appear quite slim. Some ARMYs have also noticed that most members’ faces look significantly more defined in recent photos and magazine covers. Moreover, in several interviews, fans could clearly see signs of fatigue, with some members even appearing sleep-deprived to the point of almost collapsing on the spot.
Amid concerns over the members’ condition, a past remark from j-hope’s mother has recently resurfaced and gone viral, garnering hundreds of thousands of interactions.
Specifically, the moment comes from an old clip when j-hope visited his family in hometown. During a meal, he told his mother, “I think I’d finally put on some weight if I stayed here for a month.” His mother smiled at his comment and warmly added, “If any of the members need to put on weight, send them here.”

Under the video, fans enthusiastically commented that now is exactly the time they “need” it. One fan wrote, “It’s time to send all seven of them back to Gwangju for mom to take care of them—they’re too skinny.” Another added, “Mom Jung, all seven need to gain weight. They'll be send to Gwangju right after the tour. We humbly entrust them to you, mom. Please help them eat properly and have a good rest”.
Meanwhile, other fans were deeply touched by the love j-hope’s mother shows for all seven members. Her words not only reflected her willingness to care for them but also made it clear that she sees them as her own children. This moment further highlighted the strong bond within BTS—not only among the members themselves, but also between their families and the group.
In fact, it’s not just j-hope’s mother—over the years, the parents of other BTS members have shown similar affection toward all members. Fans still remember how V’s mother woke up early to prepare kimbap for the group during their trip while filming In the SOOP.
Fans also recall the meals BTS had in their early debut days—cooked with ingre∂ιєnts bought by Jin’s mother, using seasonings and kitchen tools from her own home, including an expensive pot.

When members such as SUGA, j-hope, or Jin held solo concerts, the families of all BTS members were seen in the au∂ιєnce, attentively watching and cheering them on like their biggest fans—despite generational differences. j-hope’s father was even seen warmly hugging each member when they reunited after a long period apart due to military service.
Recently, all the members’ families also gathered at the second day of BTS’s Goyang concert to support the group. They were seen chatting warmly, taking photos together before the show, and enthusiastically waving ARMY Bombs in the stands during the performances. j-hope’s sister, Jiwoo, even generously shared a group photo of the families with the members backstage.

All of this shows that their families are closely connected like relatives, forming one big extended family that continuously stands behind the group, offering unwavering support and serving as a strong foundation for the global superstars. Moreover, the actions and attitudes of their parents play a crucial role in strengthening the bond between the members, deepening the already strong affection they share.
