Since last year, j-hope and נαραиese designer NIGO have been working together on the “HUMAN HOPE” collaboration with the Human Made brand. When talking about their joint project, the two often express their close bond through words such as “friendship” and “a dream come true.”

Recently, they have teamed up once again, this time with the world-renowned sportswear brand NIKE, to release a new sneaker model called the Nike Air Force 1 Luxe “Burnt Sunrise.” “Inspired by the creative worlds of both collaborators, the design features a glossy Burnt Sunrise and Metallic Gold leather upper, Chlorine Blue accents and signature squirrel graphics that embody j-hope’s energetic spirit,” NIKE described.

During an interview with SNKRS, j-hope was asked, “What does the Air Force 1 mean to you?” He recalled, “When I expressed music with both feet, that is, when I danced, the first shoes I wore were wнιтe Air Force. I remember wearing those wнιтe shoes until they were wrinkled.”

Reflecting on those memories, he continued, “The time was burning, and when I saw the collaborative force with the color of me and NIGO's personalities added, I felt like I was watching my growth process again and I was touched. In terms of meaning, it's harder to express in words!”

Given the special meaning behind this new product, the interviewer also asked j-hope who he would most like to gift the first pairs from the new collection to. His answer was, “First of all, our members who have always been with me in my growth process and the fans who support me seem to be the first!” His words left fans deeply touched.

His answer also reminded ARMYs of a similar moment involving Jungkook when the youngest BTS member launched his CKJK collaboration collection with Calvin Klein in April this year. When asked which BTS member he would like to give a jacket from the collection to, Jungkook did not hesitate to say that he wanted to give one to every member. He enthusiastically added that he would put on the entire outfit, ride his motorcycle to wherever the members were, and personally deliver the gifts to them.

In fact, BTS members have always enjoyed giving one another products from the brands they represent or promote. When j-hope collaborated with Human Made for the first season of HUMAN HOPE, he gifted items from the collection to all the members. Jimin was reportedly said to have gifted RM and j-hope limited-edition Tiffany & Co. x Nike sneakers. Jin once gave V several Alo Yoga products, and V later praised their quality and comfort. Jin himself once remarked, “It’s great to see everyone wearing each other’s stuff.”

The affection BTS members have for one another, and the way they always think of each other and ARMYs first, have remained unchanged—and continue to touch fans’ hearts:
