However, during a recent livestream with BTS, SUGA revealed a surprising change: his parents have recently moved to Seoul and are now living with him. BTS rapper then continued, “My accent (Satoori) is coming back strongly because I’m with them. The slightest use of dialect in public has been attracting a lot of attention lately” and he even demonstrated by saying “Don’t mess around” in the Daegu dialect, sending both the members and fans into laughter.

Although it was only a brief remark, fans immediately realized that SUGA is no longer living alone and that his home now has new residents—his parents. Moreover, the way he mentioned it suggested that they were not just visiting for a few days, but rather staying for an extended period of time.

Earlier this month, кσяєαn media reported that SUGA’s mother owns a newly completed building in Hannam-dong, valued at approximately 17.3 billion KRW. The building, which was completed this year, consists of eight floors, including two basement levels and six above-ground floors, along with an additional rooftop structure. It was built on land that a company represented by SUGA’s mother purchased in December 2022, with the original purchase price reportedly in the low 10-billion-won range.

It appears that the building becoming operational may have prompted SUGA’s parents—the owners of the property—to move to Seoul for a period of time to manage it. In addition, fans noticed that a poke restaurant operated by SUGA’s older brother, Min Geum Jae, is located on the first floor of the building under the name Chompi. Some fans have reported frequently seeing SUGA’s brother and father at the restaurant overseeing its operations.

The newly opened restaurant Chompi follows a healthy dining concept, serving poke bowls, sandwiches, and coffee made with fresh ingre∂ιєnts. The food has been praised for its flavor, reasonable prices, and generous portions. The interior is spacious and combines modern aesthetics with a warm, cozy atmosphere. 

Meanwhile, fans recalled that around October to November, many people spotted SUGA’s parents and his brother walking their family dog, Min Holly, around the building area. They were even allowed by SUGA’s family to take photos or interact directly with the dog.

Initially, fans believed SUGA’s parents were present simply because of the opening of his older brother’s restaurant. However, given SUGA’s recent remarks and the media reports, it appears that this was not merely a short visit, but rather a long-term move to Seoul for business convenience.
