Debuting in 2016, Bon Voyage is a reality travel show by BTS, personally produced by BigHit Music, in which the members explore and experience the life and culture of different countries. Each season of the show follows the members as they travel to a specific destination, turning every installment into a memorable journey.
So far, BTS’s Bon Voyage has released four seasons: Bon Voyage Season 1 (2016) filmed in Northern Europe, Season 2 (2017) in Hawaii, Season 3 (2018) in Malta, and Season 4 (2019) in New Zealand. All four seasons captured fans’ hearts not only because of the beautiful scenery of the places BTS visited, but also due to the members’ entertaining reactions, memorable experiences throughout the trips, and the heartwarming friendship they displayed along the way.

However, since 2020, when the world entered the era of the global pandemic, followed by a period when BTS paused group activities for several years to focus on individual projects and complete their military service, this beloved reality show has not been able to return. The long hiatus has left many fans feeling nostalgic and longing for the program’s comeback.
What makes the show even more special is that it is not only loved by fans— the members themselves have repeatedly expressed how much they adore Bon Voyage. Therefore, as BTS’s long-awaited return in 2026 approaches, fans have grown increasingly hopeful that the travel show might also make a comeback. Interestingly, not only the members but even media partners have been hinting at this possibility.
Most recently, on the 7th of this month, fans went wild after spotting a comment from the official X (Twitter) account of Google under a post by a BTS fan account that simply read: “Bon Voyage.” Such a direct reference from the world’s leading search platform immediately sparked excitement and celebration among netizens.

Notably, the original post that Google commented on was related to a BTS-themed Scavenger Hunt challenge launched on the 4th as part of the promotional campaign for the upcoming album “ARIRANG.” After correctly answering questions about BTS, players receive reward cards displaying song titles from the new album, along with handwritten messages and the members’ names. When the challenge first launched, many fans believed more exciting rewards would gradually be revealed.
And fans did not have to wait long. Just three days later, Google seemingly hinted at one of the biggest rewards fans have been dreaming of: the return of Bon Voyage. At this point, fans couldn’t help but exclaim: "Everyone knows those secrets except us armys", "bon voyage, LA is coming… I sense it in my left kidney", "Wait so that live????? Was it bon voyage??????", "Bestie spill the tea already I have no patience in me", "You know soмєтнing that we don't", "You need to spillll it outttt", ...
Meanwhile, even before the full lineup of BTS had completed their military service, SUGA and V had already made a “travel agreement,” confirming that the group would be ready to film Bon Voyage immediately after discharge. The two joked that on the day all seven members reunite, they would be “kidnapped” and taken somewhere to watch the Northern Lights for the next season of Bon Voyage. At the time, SUGA humorously concluded, "Yeah, we’ll get kidnapped and Bon Voyage, then in northern Europe we’ll be like, ‘It’s the aurora!’"
SUGA even said he was willing to use that video as evidence of the travel plan he made with V—almost like a firm promise that the group would eventually bring Bon Voyage back after many years.

It’s not just SUGA and V who are excited about the idea. Jungkook and RM have also repeatedly expressed how much they miss the beloved travel show. RM once shared that he truly misses Bon Voyage and revealed that the members often talk about it in their group chat. He said, "I wanna watch Bon Voyage. Ah I do miss Bon Voyage, it's been so long since we've done it, we talked about it too (as a group)".
Meanwhile, Jungkook reαѕѕured fans that when BTS returns, they plan to film both Bon Voyage and In the Soop. He told fans: "Yes, do Bon Voyage, In the Soop. I hope that you guys know how much we think of you guys. We all have our own individual situations and personal things that could happen, including me too. But I want you guys to really know how much we think of you guys...The reason why we're doing this is for you guys. you all are the reason. I know what my number one first priority is and I hope you guys know that that is you all."

In the end, the most important thing for fans is simply to trust the group, patiently wait, and continue supporting every step they take. After all, everyone knows that BTS has never disappointed their fans—right?
