There are only about 60 days left until BTS members return from the military. On this day, there are many rumors about what the members will do after being discharged from the military spreading on SNS.
One of them includes the prediction that the group members will continue their individual activities because the possibility of immediate group activities is not high. In particular, Jungkook has become the name expected to organize a solo world tour like the previous members.
Despite being absent due to military service for nearly 18 months, Jungkook has still maintained significant influence and continued his achievements and records, affirming his clαѕѕ as a world superstar. This ideal premise makes the public excited about the speculation about the possibility of organizing a world tour.
Most recently, DCECOFICIAL1 even posted a photo that is said to be Jungkook's profile on Ticketmaster - exclusive website for ticket distribution for BTS concerts overseas. Along with that, this account made a suggestion that made fans go crazy that: "Did you see Jungkook's profile appear on Ticketmaster in the US?"
Since then, netizens started to stir about Jungkook's world tour, even many fans started to worry about saving money to buy concert tickets. They expressed below the post of: "Stop joking, seriously?OMG, where do I get the money? I should save it, don't just buy snacks", "Please confirm it", "DONT PLAY WITH ME", "From now, I will save my money",...
However, this news was quickly denied by a group of fans along with facts given to prove that this account is not trustworthy.
Some fans pointed out that this account is not trustworthy. The account owner is trying to take advantage of fans, drawing attention to the content posted but the information is never accurate.
For example, the owner ever gave the information that j-hope would have more dates in мєχι¢σ and other cities. However, it never happened. He told fans to subscribe so he can tell you more but never did.
Besides that when the merch at the j-hope'concert in мєχι¢σ was supposed to be sold in limited quantities for fans, he is one of the first people which used their influencer card to buy before others and then, he resold them to those without merch.
Some others also accused this account of having expressed badly about BTS members many times.
Next, fans pointed out that up to now, Jungkook only has one solo album and the number of songs is not enough to guarantee a world tour. Jungkook himself also stated that he does not have enough songs for a tour.
Therefore, the possibility of holding a world tour can only happen when Jungkook releases another album. Of course, releasing an album just a few months after being discharged from the army and then immediately holding a world tour is too much for someone who has just been discharged like him.
On the other hand, fans also claim that Jungkook's ticket seller profile was created in 2023 after Jungkook finished his stage at Global Citizen Festival. No need to panic until they change the profile to some concept photos like what they did with j-hope's personal page - changing it to 'Hope On The Stage' concept photos.
Despite the rumors being spread by DCECOFICIAL1, some ARMYs believe that Jungkook’s world tour is possible and he will definitely do it some time after his discharge, possibly in 2026.
Instead of being distracted by unconfirmed news, fans are encouraging each other to focus on j-hope’s tour, Jin’s world tour, and BTS’s comeback in June.
Meanwhile, the fandom’s excitement about Jungkook’s world tour rumors is understandable given his strong solo career. Even during his military service, Jungkook has achieved many impressive achievements domestically and internationally.
Most recently, Seven from the album continued to surpαѕѕ the 2.3 billion streams mark on Spotify, solidifying his position as a pioneer for an Asian artist on the platform.
According to the latest Billboard chart, Seven has achieved a record of 90 weeks on the Global 200 chart. This is a new milestone as the song with the longest charting time by an Asian solo artist on this chart.
Even more impressive, Seven has stayed on the "Global Excl. U.S." chart for 91 weeks, reaching No. 72. This also sets a new record as the song with the longest charting time by an Asian solo artist on this particular Billboard chart.
Seven has also achieved long-term success on Spotify, maintaining its position on the Weekly Top Songs Global chart for 92 consecutive weeks, a first and longest streak for an Asian solo artist.
