For ARMYs, the name EL CAPITXN—or Jang Yijeong—is no longer unfamiliar. He is known as SUGA’s closest friend, and their friendship has lasted for many years, dating back to the days when both struggled through the toughest times of their lives. Meanwhile, EL CAPITXN also gained public attention as the producer who worked with SUGA and IU on the collaboration project “eight,” which was seen as a symbolic song celebrating the artists’ shared age of 28 and their musical connection.
Currently, EL CAPITXN mainly works behind the scenes as a producer and DJ, and he has been recognized as an “in-house producer” at HYBE since 2019. Before reaching where he is today, he actually debuted as an idol. However, the crisis of his group’s disbandment and a severe throat injury nearly pushed him to the edge — and it was SUGA who helped pull him out of that dark time.
That’s why, in his autobiography, Jang Yijeong once wrote: “I always say this, ‘Maybe it was my real dad who raised Jang Yi Jung, but it was producer SUGA who raised EL CAPITXN.’”

Their wonderful friendship has deeply moved fans, and EL CAPITXN has earned great affection from ARMYs. Fans have continuously shown support for his social media activities and creative projects. Most recently, ARMYs congratulated him on announcing his EL CAPITXN WORLD TOUR 2025–2026 “Who K1lled El?”, which will kick off in December.
However, not all ARMYs have shown good manners or understood when to draw the line. During EL CAPITXN’s latest Instagram Live broadcast, some fans behaved inappropriately, making the majority of ARMYs feel uncomfortable and prompting warnings from others. Even EL himself had to step in to stop the flood of irrelevant comments.
Specifically, on the 3rd, Jang Yijeong went live to chat with followers about his upcoming world tour. Alongside fun and supportive comments, many viewers repeatedly mentioned SUGA, asking detailed questions about his current situation — as if it were SUGA’s livestream instead.
At first, the producer tried to ignore those messages, but as the comments didn’t stop, he politely responded: “Guys, stop worrying. Why are you so worried about Min Yoongi? You don’t have to worry. Our Min Yoongi is stronger than anyone else. So please don’t worry. You get it, right?”
That wasn’t all — another incident that angered fans even more was when some people repeatedly commented “Yoongi Marry Me”, not realizing that it’s an inside joke among ARMY and BTS fans. Thankfully, Jang remained calm and responded openly: “Yoongi Marry Me. This is always there on any live broadcast. When I looked into it, well, I actually didn’t know much about it, but 'Yoongi Marry Me' is similar to saying ‘Hello’ or soмєтнing.”
Nevertheless, true fans felt furious and embarrαѕѕed by the disrespectful behavior of certain ARMYs who lacked basic manners. They pointed out that this was EL CAPITXN’s livestream, not SUGA’s, and that people should refrain from constantly bringing up SUGA during his own broadcast.
On the other hand, ARMYs also emphasized that mentioning other artists during someone’s live broadcast is rude in general, and urged others to stop this impolite behavior. They firmly reminded everyone that SUGA will meet ARMYs whenever he’s ready, so the best thing to do now is simply to wait patiently.
ARMYs are now expressing strong frustration after witnessing what happened during Jang Yijeong’s recent livestream:
- Have we resorted to this now?? Come on. Leave the man alone. I know we miss Min Yoongi but this is getting out of hand. It’s becoming tiresome. Yijeong is an artist on his own. He just announced a tour. I’m sure he’s excited about his own endeavours. Let the man go live to talk about his own stuff, I’m begging. Yoongi will show up in his own time.
- At this point it's embarrαѕѕing truly and it's overdoing it we all miss yoongi but on the path of loving him as a person and an artist waiting and respecting his wishes+ timing are a must otherwise it just becomes selfish fan demands and stalking and invading his friends space
- On one hand I wanted to be like: “Yay, glad to hear he’s okay from someone who knows him”, but on the other, if I click on one more persons’ live and see a: “Where is/how is Yoongi” comment, I’m going to lose it. It’s not really kid or respectful. I get it, but… chill?
- I dislike it so much when some ppl start following anyone αѕѕociated with the 875 on socmed and not because of the content they create & share. Hence, their conversations also center around 875 instead of having genuine interest in the person in Qs.
- Let's give Yoongi his own time. He will definitely come, have faith in Yoongi. We all miss him
- Don't they know by now that Yoongi is not the type to casually post soмєтнing and do random lives? And really, bugging an other artist??? I trust Yoongi, he"ll let us know soмєтнing on his own time. Not bc stnpid fxcks want him to.
- While I appreciate the update on Suga, this makes me feel uncomfortable and bad. This is Yijeong's live where his fans would want to hear about him and his own updates. And I can't imagine how Suga will feel when he somehow finds out about this
- Not Yijeong not understanding it because it's inside joke of Army's and bts but why they drop it for someone who is not aware
- Please leave him alone guys. Dont always mention about yoongi he is artist on his own please
