For ARMYs, Choi Yena is best known for her collaboration with Jin on the song "Loser" from Jin’s second solo album "Echo." The singer received love for her strong, charismatic voice, bringing a fresh breeze to this lively pop-punk track.

Previously, Yena was a former member of the girl group IZ*ONE (from the survival show Produce 48). After the group disbanded, she has been active as a solo artist, and her collaboration with Jin was her first feature since going independent.

The song is called ‘Loser,’ and when I first received the offer, I thought, ‘Why me?’”. I listened to the song, and as soon as I heard it, I thought it was completely my style. I felt like I could do really well. I expressed my confidence and insisted on accepting the offer, so I was able to take this great opportunity".

But the most important part revealed by Choi Yena was the “perks” that came with working with a global K-pop superstar like Jin. The idol shared that she was invited to the concert, and this experience let her know what “the world clαѕѕ treatment” is.

She listed the things that impressed her: “I also got invited to his solo concert as a guest. The part where I truly felt that a world-clαѕѕ figure is different was when, even though it was just for breakfast, they grilled thinly sliced pork belly samgyeopsal so deliciously. She added: “There were so many things” beyond the pork belly and ramen that impressed her with Jin’s world-clαѕѕ treatment, “the stage was really huge and the ARMYs were the best” being a few of them, for example.
