BTS Spoils New Song Lyrics For ARMYs Through A Challenge And The Result Is Truly Unexpected

With exactly one week left before BTS officially releases its highly anticipated new album, the promotional campaign has clearly entered its final stretch. During this crucial period, both the group’s management company, BigHit Music, and several global partner platforms appear to be pouring all their efforts into large-scale promotional activities.

In recent days, fans have frequently spotted mαѕѕive BTS billboards in the centers of major cities around the world. At the same time, BigHit Music has continued revealing key details related to the upcoming album, including the official album cover, photocard designs, and most recently an animated trailer filled with historical symbolism surrounding the song “ARIRANG.”

Partner platforms have also joined the excitement. Netflix recently treated fans to a grand trailer filmed at Gwanghwamun Square, leaving viewers thrilled ahead of a special one-hour performance scheduled for the 21st. Meanwhile, Spotify went all out by collaborating with BTS to create a special cruise experience called “SWIMSIDE” on the Han River in Seoul from March 27–29. During the event, BTS songs will be played for ARMY.

And of course, Apple Music could not be мιѕѕιиg from this series of creative promotional activities. On the evening of the 13th, BigHit Music stirred excitement among fans when it posted a message on BTS’s official Twitter account: “ARMY! We left some surprises for you in the ‘Proof’ album lyrics on @AppleMusic. Can you find them?”

Thousands of ARMY quickly followed the Apple Music link shared by BigHit Music and began what felt like a treasure hunt. After checking a total of 35 songs, fans started noticing several unusual details. In the lyrics of songs such as Run BTS, Yet To Come, and For Youth, certain words were written in capital letters, while some letters were replaced with unusual symbols compared to the normal lyrics.

At first, these details seemed random and disconnected. But once fans rearranged the special characters they had collected, they discovered a complete hidden message. The final decoded answer was: “But We Don’t Go Home Till Sunrise.”

Many fans wondered whether the line might belong to the upcoming album’s title track—or one of the other 13 unreleased songs. Either way, receiving a “reward” after completing a challenge like this only made the excitement among fans grow even stronger. Their reactions are so varied : "They are so crazy for revealing lyrics like this, we finally got the lyrics", "Are they gonna refer to the old days", "My brain is twisted after training to find the message", "This gotta be lyrics for into the sun", "This is so вℓσσ∂y creative", "Omgg what is happening....onggg", "What a reveal", "so many references into the sun man,,, if we get that icarus reference and visual.. PHEW", "Their team deserves a raise this is insane",...

However, this is not the only challenge that BTS has prepared for ARMY during this comeback. Another fan jokingly commented: “Other artists: ‘Here’s my album. Enjoy.’ BTS: ‘Want to listen? Complete all the decoding missions first!’”

In fact, besides the Apple Music mission, ARMY has already been asked to decode clues at least four different times to receive hints about the new album.

On February 14, BigHit Music launched the “What Is Your Love Song?” project at famous locations such as COEX Mall, Covent Garden, and The Grove. Visitors could receive free roses, each accompanied by a card reading “MY LOVE SONG IS ( )” along with a QR code that directed them to the campaign website where they could share their own “love song.”

After that, BigHit Music partnered with Google to launch a Scavenger Hunt game. In this challenge, fans had to complete different stages of tasks in order to receive reward cards displaying the names of songs from the new album, along with handwritten text and the members’ signatures.

More recently, Spotify launched the campaign #DecodingARIRANG, where listeners can collect seven hidden fragments across the platform to unlock exclusive voice messages from the members. Meanwhile, the Netflix вяαzιℓ account once posted a binary code, which when decoded formed the sentence: “I see BTS everywhere?”

Although fans have had to put in considerable effort to complete these challenges, they have enthusiastically embraced and praised the series of creative promotional activities. Many ARMYs even believe that the campaign BigHit Music and BTS have prepared for ARIRANG is the largest and most impressive promotional campaign in BTS’s career that they have ever witnessed.

And judging by the momentum so far, these decoding challenges are clearly only the beginning. Fans are growing more eager by the day for the album’s release and for BTS’s first performance after three years away—an event that will surely be even more explosive.
