BTS’s Maknae Line Delights Fans As Matching Items Are Spotted In Their Houses

BTS lived together in a dormitory for about 10 years, from their trainee days through their debut period. It wasn’t until 2020—when all the members had acquired their own luxury apartments—that they finally moved out of the dorm. Interestingly, several members went through multiple moves or home renovations before settling into their current residences.

For example, Jungkook lived in at least two apartment units before relocating to his newly built villa in Itaewon at the end of 2024 during his military leave. The $6 million home features two basement levels and three above-ground floors. Jungkook continues to apply a minimalist style with dark tones to his new living space.

Meanwhile, V became known for owning a penthouse on the 15th floor of the luxury Apelbaum complex in Gangnam, offering panoramic views of the city and the Han River. However, in February this year, he moved from the $4.5 million apartment to PH129 (The Penthouse Cheongdam), valued at $10.3 million. The unit has a private floor area of 273.96㎡, including five bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Compared to V and Jungkook, Jimin appears to be the most settled, having purchased his Nine One Hannam apartment in 2021 for $5.3 million. His home is decorated in a minimalist style, with little embellishment—keeping only essential furniture pieces and primarily using black, wнιтe, and gray tones.

Although the members have never conducted detailed home tours, through certain photos and live broadcasts, fans have caught glimpses of their interior designs and interesting decorative items. From these brief peeks, fans discovered that the Maknae Line members own several identical pieces of furniture. After comparing these coincidences, fans couldn’t help but comment that they truly are close friends who share similar tastes and aesthetics.

First, fans noticed that Jimin and Jungkook purchased the same type of sofa from the high-end brand Casasina. Jimin bought a long black sofa worth around $12,000, while Jungkook owns two similar long sofas and two single armchairs—each priced at approximately $5,000 or more—in his living room.

Next, the two 1995-born idols almost confused fans because of their similar room layouts and color schemes. When Jimin went live, many initially thought he was streaming from V’s former apartment due to the comparable color palette and the arrangement of gym equipment in the background. It wasn’t until Jimin clarified that he was at his own home that fans realized the resemblance stemmed from their shared interior aesthetic preferences.

Interestingly, both Jimin and V enjoy decorating their living rooms with collectible figures of their favorite cartoon characters. Jimin was once seen displaying a red Christmas edition Bearbrick Jack Skellington figure in a corner of his home, while in a recent live broadcast from his new residence, V showcased a shelf filled with Bearbrick Jean Cookie Monster and Kaws figures.

Finally, Jungkook and V share a rather “bold” connection, as the two seemingly introduced each other to a uniquely designed and expensive furniture piece—a chair shaped like a human buttocks from the long-established Italian luxury brand Casamania. The chair is described as having a sculptural form that exudes sensual charm—even in its nude̸-inspired design—without appearing vulgar.

V owns the Him Lucida model, priced at around $1,019.45, which he placed beside his dining table. Meanwhile, Jungkook purchased six Him Opaca chairs, each costing about $960, featuring a matte surface instead of V’s glossy finish. He arranged them in his entertainment room for watching movies.

When Jungkook mentioned this idea, fans burst into laughter, joking that despite the chairs’ hefty price tags, they don’t even have space to hold Coca-Cola or popcorn—and the way he lined them up resembles seats at a subway station. But of course, you can’t teach a rich person how to spend their money! He must have his own reasoning behind it.

Overall, since the Maknae Line members lived together for nearly a decade, it’s only natural that they share similar tastes in furniture, décor, and interior design. It’s also possible that one member introduced items he had previously purchased, and the others found them appealing enough to buy as well—especially when these pieces come from high-end brands known for excellent quality and premium prices, leaving fans in αωє.
